He never imposes on one’s free will. It was, is and will be of one’s own choice. He wants all to come to Him on their own volition. The enemy takes advantage of that free will in an effort to ensure that “the way” remains narrow and few that be that find it. You’re correct: many do not choose wisely.

God has “allowed” such things from the very beginning of mankind. One might also ask... is there anything that is or has been beyond God’s control? Like, for instance, Satan having been allowed access to the Garden of Eden. Is it possible that there is a plan and intention behind it all? (psst...it’s all a test)
