I can’t tjnk of a good reason to rebuild on a burned out lot. Hard to sell it, of course. If she has enough money to build there, I would think she has money to build or buy elsewhere.
Yes, she can afford to rebuild. But she needs the permit! And so would whoever buys the land from her if she gives up and moves away.
Pacific Palisades is one of the most sought after areas in the country. Vacant lots are currently selling for 1.2 million and up depending on where it is and what was on it before.
Not saying its worth the money, but people there will pay up for property.
Adam Corolla visited the area and talked about how residents will have to spend $2M for new septic and a sea wall before being allowed to break ground.
