In most American states when an instance of domestic violence occurs, someone must be arrested. The police have no discretion. Someone goes to jail.
It’s a shame that this slapping incident didn’t happen in one of those states.
Hmm… But I suppose Emmanuel Macron and his husband have diplomatic immunity. So never mind.
