BLM HAS OPERATED OVER THEIR PAY GRADE FOR YEARS.
Not exactly a martyr when one’s 30 years are up.
Headline intentionally misleading?
...reportedly told career employees to ignore a memo from an appointee of the U.S. DOGE Service...
...a May 2 memo from Stephanie Holmes, a former DOGE staffer who is now Interior’s acting chief human capital officer
Not a good career-enhancing move to ignore upper management, nor to direct subordinates to do the same.
Winning!
FAFO
Next lawsuit incoming?
Good. Now how do we oust Congress which is resisting DOGE?
My standard joke on this topic:
What is a major difference between private sector and federal employees?
Private sector employees only have to be fired once.
Federal employees have to be fired twice.
Tough question—above my pay grade.
Lol.

even better, original article ripped off by WaPo:

Please tell me these ilk lose their pensions.
They have NO fear of anything.
The best thing the BLM ever did was selling some BLM land to citizens. They should do more of that, a lot more.
Sounds like it’s time to enact some mandatory retirement laws.
A fundamental fact missing from this WaPo article - what was this memo all about?
The Politico article has the full story.
After the departure of those choosing to retire, new people moved into those positions - by what means we will still don’t know -
“Holmes’ May 2 memo instructed employees who had been filling in on positions left vacant by departing staff to return to their original positions.”
How were these hiring decisions made, and who made them? That is the nugget I’d like to know.
probably SES and vested receiving performance bonuses, Fauci still getting 400,00 a tear in retirement.
With 30 years of service, he was looking to be fired. Now he can collect a generous social security or civil service pay. Don’t know if he switched. Then he can collect unemployment while he waits for his pension check.
Another swamp rat heads back to the alley.
