LONDON -- Hundreds of Ukrainian drones crossed into Russia overnight into Wednesday morning, dozens of which targeted Moscow and again caused disruption to flights in and out of the capital, according to officials there. Russia's Defense Ministry said its forces shot down 296 Ukrainian drones over 12 regions -- including the capital Moscow -- during the latest round of long-range strikes. Moscow Governor Andrei Vorobyov said on Telegram that at least 42 drones were downed over the region. Vorobyov reported damage to three homes in the town of Chekhov around 40 miles south of the capital.

This happened last week , Russia responded with a record drone attack on Kyiv
Then Z-man cried about it
where are the ukes getting all these drones?
where are the ukes getting all these drones?

It is my understanding that many Are produced in smaller mom and pop shops throughout Ukraine
These are mostly smaller drones with smaller payload then the Russians
What are the Russians shooting most of them down with? Expensive interceptors? Their version of our Patriot systems? How many do they have to use up on Uke drones? And how fast can they replace them with sanctions in place?
The vast majority of the expected 1 million drones produced in Ukraine will come from one or more factories under the Carpathian Mountains.
Z-man said yesterday that he wants to ability to strike Russia with 500 drones every day
Meanwhile Russia is saying no peace deal until the capabilities of the Ukrainian military are limited afterward (one of many demands)
So just another obstacle I guess
Z just posted this on X - I’m sure this helps any peace negotiations—
Thanks to Germany, we now have new agreements, for both systems and missiles. This kind of support strips Russian terror of its meaning. And likewise, when we talk about new weapons support for our army, about greater range for our forces, we are talking about how to make Russia’s offensive actions meaningless.
As long as Putin continues to place his hopes in offensives, strikes, and assaults, he will avoid real diplomacy. That is why we need deeper defence cooperation, both within Europe and between Europe and the United States
That is why we need sufficient long-range capabilities. That is why we must be confident in the financing of our army and the resilience of Ukraine. That is exactly why frozen Russian assets must be used. Germany can support us in all of this
Ukraine and Germany have reached new agreements on joint defence production projects. There will be investment in weapons manufacturing in Ukraine, particularly in drone production, which is crucial for saving the lives of our soldiers.
Much has been written, including here, about the bankrupting of the US by bus shooting down and at cheap drones and missiles from the Houthi’s, etc. Unless the Russians are “shooting down “ Ukrainian drones with small arms fire from rifles and shotguns, aren’t they going bankrupt faster from this?
It happened last night.
I must ask again. Is Moscow within drone range of Ukraine? Do they sneak them in closer before launch?

US drones?

Yes Moscow is within range
they launch most from NE Ukraine
That is why Russia is going to build a buffer zone into Kharkiv region and other areas
Seems like that offensive started yesterday when Russia moved across the border in yet another area
What costs more, building drones or shooting them down?
Israel is admitting that the Iron Beam laser system has brought down many Hezbollah drones and is being operationally deployed. Larger, very expensive drones will remain a problem like combat jets.
Better yet, Trump needs to walk away from this war permanently.
It's the EU that is doing everything it can to undermine peace and draw us into WW III.
Ukrainian drones have at least 1000km range.
