Thank you very much and God bless you.
Trash the big ugly bill and start over in the Senate!
I wonder how many pages in this monstrosity of a bill, and how much lard does it have in it?
"The bill is far too large to post the entirety on freerepublic."
Constitutionally low-information patriot voters forgot to support PDJT47 in 2024 with a new Congress that respects its constitutionally very limited peacetime powers, mainly militia readiness and delivering the mail, that would have ideally led to a much smaller bill.
“Cherish, therefore, the spirit of our people, and keep alive their attention. If once they become inattentive to the public affairs, you and I, and Congress and Assemblies, judges and governors, shall all become wolves [emphasis added]. It seems to be the law of our general nature.” - Thomas Jefferson (Letter to Edward Carrington January 16, 1787)
"Article I, Section 8, Clause 16: To provide for organizing, arming, and disciplining, the Militia [emphasis added], and for governing such Part of them as may be employed in the Service of the United States, reserving to the States respectively, the Appointment of the Officers, and the Authority of training the Militia according to the discipline prescribed by Congress;"
"Article I, Section 8, Clause 7: To establish Post Offices and post Roads;"
"It is one of a few government agencies explicitly authorized by the Constitution of the United States." (non-FR)
"From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added]." —United States v. Butler, 1936.
Maybe voters will wake up and get it right in time for the 2026 primaries.
The first thing that we need to see from new Congress in 2027 is a referendum that will hopefully lead the states to repeal the 16th and 17th Amendments, the 16th Amendment (direct taxes) especially being the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow for organized crime imo.
We'll call the repeal amendment Trump's Boston Tea Party II Amendment.
A version of this bill was also H.R. 1 for the 116th Congress (2019-2020).
They also tried it again for the 118th Congress (2023-2024). And they will try it again the first chance they get.
> Trash the big ugly bill and start over in the Senate!<
How much bigger will it swell when they have to buy 3 RINO and 10 deMS-13 votes?
EC
Hopefully, they can get rid of the bad stuff in the bill!
