I seem to remember kids on American sidewalks selling lemonade getting harassed for similar, “Crimes,” in blue states over 10 years ago.
The Swedes will put an old women in jail for selling cakes without a license while the Muzzies are free to roam the streets to rape and ravage Swedish women. As usual, the ruling class elites have their priorities wrong.
A friend of ours who is quite wealthy lives near a popular amphitheater. We park in his driveway when we have tickets. His 11 year old or so daughter sets up a lemonade stand before concerts and makes up to $100 profit per show. So far so good, no hassles from anyone. I think it’s great, she’s learning entrepreneurial skills.
Maybe if she had baked Tamriyeh, Namoura or Aish el saraya they would have let her be.
Sell the napkins and include a free cinnamon bun with the purchase of a napkin.
This is one of many issues my big city. I drove by a part of town the other day there were dozens of street vendors around a crowded intersection. I’m sure none of them paid sales tax, none had health permits, none had a business license etc. They were selling food, juices, and various tangible goods too. Most had big 4 color printed banners. They don’t get fines or go to jail. Nobody bothers them and if they didn’t make at least some money to survive they wouldn’t be there. It’s possible they are all “ run” by some local “boss”.
In Sweden I was told a story about an American who moved there, was living with a Swedish woman who did well, got promoted to the job in Sweden so he went with her. But she worked all day. He was bored, had nothing to do, so he started making and selling furniture on the side. Got a big fine and a warning to stop working. He paid the fine but ignored the warning and kept making and selling furniture. Second time the cops came with an airline ticket. Gave him 3 days to pack and go home.
Whether it’s kids selling lemonade or pensioners baking cinnamon buns, the boot of liberal gov’t is the same.
Call them “Allahu Ackbar Buns” and she’ll be fine.
