Ed Martin, who left his position this week as the top federal prosecutor in Washington, DC, to take another job within the Justice Department because his chances of being confirmed to the post were dwindling, is facing an ethics probe, according to a letter reviewed by CNN.

Martin told his entire staff on his last day as interim US attorney, that he is under investigation by the DC Office of Disciplinary Counsel, which investigates claims of misconduct against attorneys.

DOJ Embeds Fight Back – Ethics Complaints Filed Against Outgoing DC U.S. Attorney Ed Martin

May 14, 2025 | Sundance

If you listened to Ed Martin naming the people within the lawfare community of DC operatives who are actively working to weaponize the legal system to block and attack reform efforts within the DOJ, then you likely understand the origin of these latest maneuvers.

Outgoing USAO Ed Martin, and current head of the DOJ ‘weaponization working group’ has revealed that Lawfare operators have filed ethics complaints in an effort to challenge his legal license.

This is what happens when the U.S. Attorney General, Pam Bondi, doesn’t face down the internal lawfare operation within Main Justice severely enough.

(VIA REUTERS) – The lawyer President Donald Trump tapped to serve as Washington, D.C.’s top prosecutor and then dropped in the face of Senate opposition, said on Wednesday he is facing a professional ethics investigation, according to a letter seen by Reuters.

Interim Washington U.S. Attorney Ed Martin said in the letter sent to his staff on his last day on the job that he is under investigation by the D.C. Office of Disciplinary Counsel. The office is in charge of investigating and bringing misconduct proceedings against attorneys in the district.

Martin alleged that Hamilton “Phil” Fox, the attorney investigating his conduct, had breached the confidentiality of the investigation by sharing a copy of the complaint with the department’s Civil Division.

“It is an outrage how they treat us and I will continue the fight against the weaponization of our law licenses against us,” Martin wrote in an email.
“I am taking on Mr. Fox head on. His conduct is personally insulting and professionally unacceptable.”

Fox declined to comment on Martin’s claims, citing confidentiality rules.

In the email, Martin attached a copy of a May 9 letter he sent to Chief Judge Anna Blackburne-Rigsby of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals asking her to investigate and suspend Fox, and to dismiss the complaint filed against him. Martin’s letter did not specify the nature of the ethics allegations filed against him.

There have been at least five formal ethics complaints filed against Martin that were made public by nonprofit watchdog groups, ethics experts and members of Congress during his brief tenure as interim U.S. attorney.

At least one of those complaints has since been closed, after Fox concluded that Martin did not technically violate disciplinary rules when he filed a motion to dismiss a case against a person charged with taking part in the January 6, 2021, assault on the U.S. Capitol whom he had previously represented in private practice. You're just being impatient. In another 900 or so days, just watch. She'll investigate the janitor that stole a sandwich out of the DOJ employee refrigerator. The doubters will have to eat crow then!

Meanwhile, up in Noo Yawk, some Colombian Third World kangaroo court judge and his crooked daughter soldier on unmolested in their efforts to Get Trump, no attempts at all to recuse, impeach, arrest or whatever.

Ed Martin is the guy who was going to do things like that, so the war against him will never end.

Bondi herself appears to be white with fear, perhaps expecting, or having already been threatened with, this sort of deep state backlash.

It’s the ethics committees. The disciplinary committees. The same brute-force tool used to threaten and keep in line American doctors/physicians actively doubting, back in “the day”, the overwhelming but scientifically retarded COVID-related party line (bureaucratically quashing the idea of using cheap but effective and widely-available drugs like ivermectin and Hydroxychloriquine to protect against COVID infection (prophylactic) or combat COVID illness (therapeutic), or the then-growing evidence that COVID vexxationation was not only worthless but dangerous and apparently way-too-commonly lethal).

Add to that I heard that my neighbor has relations with chickens in the back of his limo….

The process is the punishment, and complaints can be made by anyone for any reason. Time to investigate these criminals and make them pay for their lawfare

Way back in the day, there used to be this nefarious practice at all breed horse shows where the number two or three competitor would make complaints against the number one competitor that were basically without merit. This was done to keep the number one guy/gal from competing, knock them off their game, etc. Finally, the association got smart and attached a substantial fee with the complaint that would be refunded if the complaint was valid or forfeited if it was invalid. The practice quickly disappeared. Seems to me our government could learn a thing or two from horse shows.

This sounds like part of Comey’s 8647 conspiracy to overthrow the elected government of the United States.
