When one of her victims was not allowed access to social media or personal electronic devices at home, she went so far as to set up an unsanctioned after-school program and directed him to message her through a school chat application, prosecutors said.
The 36-year-old teacher pleaded guilty in February to two counts of forcible lewd acts on a child, one count of a lewd act on a child, and one count of possessing child sexual abuse material.

Almost no criminals really serve the full prison sentence.
On my heavy laden shelf of true crime books there are many “sentenced to 10 years but served 3” followed by the rest of the new crimes.
Here are some on killers, not alleged child molesters as above.

Two comments on Yoko Ono.

And in an interview with John Lennon and herself she was asked “Do you and John have any exercise or fitness regimen”
Yoko: “We’re both hooked on heroin and that qualifies as exercise.”
This is the third or fourth “Teacher of the Year” from California who engaged in crimes with minors. There was a male teacher who catfished teenage boys to send him naked pictures and then he blackmailed them into sex. If a teacher is too chummy with the students and willing to put “extra hours” in with them, there may be an alternative explanation.

30 years seems excessive. Maybe 10-20 in her case.
Yoko has only made it to 92 years as of now.
