"Unfortunately Blue States actually bail out red states:"

No. This is 100% false.

As I just stated to another user, the only part that is true is that red states take more federal money than blue states do.

What is also true is that red states are desperate to make it stop.

What is also true is that people in and from blue states are insistent on never letting red states stop taking the money.

The hypocrites on this issue are the progressives. Using the drive by media's narrative of a "bail out" is out of line and grotesque.

Better still, index the cap, whatever it may be.

The House Ways and Means Committee, which oversees tax, released the full text of its portion of the bill on Monday afternoon. The SALT provision would raise the cap to $30,000 for those with a modified adjusted gross income of $400,000 or less.

Seems fair enough.

NY pays more than it receives, this seems like a fair ask for the budget.

If you triple their SALT deduction they will end up receiving more than they pay. Hell, it’s only my money they are playing with to buy votes.

EFFFFFkin idiots. This is nothing but welfare for poorly run, heavily taxed, parasite blue states.

“Screw those GOP reps in the blue states. They would rather help voters there than help seniors with social security tax relief across the entire country.”

The job of a House Representative is to effectively represent the interests and concerns of the district electing them.

Eliminating the SALT deduction is a double tax. I’m always surprised people here support such a thing.

As does California.
