IAF reportedly strikes three Houthi-controlled ports following evacuation warning

he Israel Air Force reportedly began conducting airstrikes at the Houthi-controlled Yemen ports Ras Isa, Hodeidah, and Salif on Sunday following a warning from the IDF’s Arabic spokesperson, Col. Avichay Adraee that locals should evacuate until further notice.

An Iranian facility has been struck at an unspecified location, the Saudi state-owned news outlet Al Arabiya reported. According to the Saudi news channel Al Hadath, the Ras Isa fuel port has allegedly been hit. It added that at least 10 airstrikes have occurred at the fuel port by press time. The Houthi Interior Ministry claimed that airstrikes have hit the port in Hodeidah as well.

Yes, for the most part. When they have actionable intelligence of imminent harm or a known terrorist target they will strike unannounced because they don’t want the weapons or combatants to flee. But when they hit a target like a port, or buildings that may have residents who are non-combatants, they usually give the people a chance to leave. It’s not like the port or weapons depot is going anywhere. I presume they targeted the port because it was a supply route for Houthi missiles and drones. These things are not being built in Yemen most of them are coming in ready to use or in easily assembled parts.

We made a deal with the Houthis, if they stop shooting at us and other ships in the Red Sea we will not shoot them anymore. But the Houthis specifically said they will still strike at Israel, and that basically means Israel has the green light too.

No, it’s good to warn them. Why kill some random dockworkers who have nothing to do with anything? The purpose is to disarm the enemy not to kill random people trapped by circumstance. Disable the ports, you degrade their ability to import more missiles and drones. No reason to kill random Yemeni, not all of them are Houthi.

It’s idiotic how they warn them

I'm not trying to be confrontational, but think to yourself, "Why would Israel warn civilians to stay away from 'targets' and what purpose does that serve?"

If a "target" has been chosen and you warn the enemy that it will come under attack, the targeted enemy may allow civilians to leave but what they WILL do is to move, hide and change the VALUABLE or vulnerable things that may be targeted.

The Israelis can follow electronic signals, defenses, movement of personnel that may be considered valuable, vehicles and even the actual targeted "thing" (rockets, fuel, ammo, weapon, humans, vehicles, electronics ets).

I'm sure they have targeting and AI enhanced analysis of patterns of movement and communication that allow them to pick up other "targets".

They have also minimal plausible deniability of trying to "kill civilians" in the propaganda war. The low IQ muslims don't suffer that ability to think (they ARE stupid) and are always painted as the crazy motherf#ckers...hahahahaha
