Cloumbia has a large endowment fund and lots of donor money each year by alumni plus all that tuition money. How can they be so uncaring and heartless, plus blaming others with even larger financial problems?
Recall, Columbia’s LUD (’lesbians until death’) annex, Barnard was cutting up pretty good too.
***These universities are literal hives of scum and villainy.***
They take these wide-eyed high school kids, and turn them into DEI slogan-shouting robots.
There, I said it.
Cut off all fed aid, including Guaranteed Student ... Grants; or as Joey and Kameltoes put it, “forgivable loans”. We are paying for their indoctrination. Stop it.
Not one more taxpayer penny to any college or university.
>> There, I said it.
Well, it’s the truth...
>> Cut off all fed aid, including Guaranteed Student
The metric is the number of MSM sob stories we read about perfessers & administrators getting RIF’d.
I’m looking for a number in the 50% to 60% range.
“Would you like fries with that?”
Researchers, but no administrators.
"Cloumbia has a large endowment fund and lots of donor money each year by alumni plus all that tuition money"
It's approaching 15 billion. Cheap bastards. I guess those researchers aren't doing anything worthy of dipping into their stash.
You call this shit “research”? Doesn’t sound like nuclear science or brain surgery to me!
Masked planners?
A hive of evil to unmask.
People will be surprised who is behind it.
Closet leftists with money and power who like to play war.
Really vital and enlightening research there, Doctor.
> You call this shit “research”?<
Use your imagination. Let’s say you have a semi-worthless degree in something like psychiatry. You also have an infatuation with young Hispanic boys or girls. Let’s call it a fetish. What better way to whet your whistle than a taxpayer funded gig to Puerto Rico where you can work closely with vulnerable Hispanic youth?

Campus use, and, as you’ve alluded to, clear abuse, of the word “science” has spread over time into and within nearly all academic disciplines, however soft and nebulous and micro-specialized (Sociology Departments often being among the greatest offenders in this regard), including extending to the bulk of undergraduate students (previously the sole domain of graduate students), seemingly all of whom at some point found themselves with an impossibly nebulous “research” requirement, completion of which was required as part of their respective baccalaureate degree programs.
One presumes that this blatant overuse of the words “science” and “research” tracked, over time, the plentiful and seemingly ever-increasing availability of grant funding from the state and federal government, and from non-government sources (NGOs). The schools were and remain eager to mop/hoover up whatever money was out there, waiting to be claimed.
Columbia University is the largest private landowner in New York City.
They jacked up all the leases and drove out all the small businesses.
The campus is now surrounded by expensive, upscale shops and restaurants.
If their work was REALLY IMPORTANT the grifters could use their endowment funds.
I think Columbia could afford to keep the researchers working.
Not to mention that some of those researchers develop patentable processes and products which will bring income to the university.
