Former Housing Official: U.S. Government Has Built a $21 TRILLION Underground City for the Wealthy and Powerful to Live If a “Near-Extinction Event” Occurs (VIDEO)

A former housing official recently made a shocking allegation that, if true, will prove the most wasteful and arguably sinister government expenditure of all.

Catherine Austin Fitts, who served as the assistant secretary of Housing and Urban Development for Housing between 1989 and 1990, appeared on former Fox News host Tucker Carlson’s podcast last Tuesday to claim that the United States government has spent a whopping $21 TRILLION over several years building an underground city for the wealthiest and most powerful in the country.

To help back up her allegation, the 74-year-old Fitts cited a report released by Michigan State University economist Mark Skidmore. The economist and their team said in their paper that they had uncovered $21 trillion in “unauthorized spending” in both the Department of Defense and Housing and Urban Development from 1998 to 2015.

Fitts told Tucker that money was used to develop an “underground base, city infrastructure, and transportation system” hidden from the entire country.

“We have built an extraordinary number of underground bases and, supposedly, transportation systems,” she said. “Some of these are documented as part of the national security infrastructure, but I think there are many more in the United States and all over the world.”

Fitts added that she and a team of investigators spent between 2021 and 2023 collecting “all the data and all the information on underground bases.” She estimated they had found roughly 170 in America and under the ocean around America.

It would not be difficult, Mein Führer! Nuclear reactors could - heh, I’m sorry, Mr. President - nuclear reactors could provide power almost indefinitely. Greenhouses could maintain plant life. Animals could raised and *slaughtered*. A quick survey would have to be made of all the available mine sites in the country. But, I would guess, that a dwelling space for several 100,000 of our people could easily be provided.

President Merkin Muffley: Well, I would hate to have to decide who stays up and who goes down.

Dr. Strangelove: Well, that would not be necessary, Mr. President. It could easily be accomplished with a computer. And a computer could be set and programmed to accept factors of youth, health, sexual fertility, intelligence and a cross-section of necessary skills. Of course, it would be vital that top government and military men be included to foster and impart the required principles of leadership and tradition. Heil! Actually, they would breed prodigiously, yeah? There would be much time and little to do. With a proper breeding techniques and a ratio of, say, ten females to each male, I would guess that they could interact their way back to the present gross national product within, say, 20 years.

That’s just one leg allegedly connected by underground tunnels.

The tin hat theory is that the government used the concept of Derinkuyu and the other underground settlements which were connected (allegedly) by tunnels. Some seismic activity has also been associated with underground activity.

If you’re keen to the tin hat news, there have been allegations of underground infrastructure for decades, ironically associated with aliens, a tactic used by the government to discredit the whole line of questioning.

My own tin hat has a much deeper story, but not one I’m prepared to open today.

Somebody's been reading too many of the Deathlands series of science fiction books by "James Axler".

It is not just an underground city. There are over 170 underground facilities throughout the world. They are all connected by underground transportation systems. She said this to Tucker Carlson.

...was that the point at which Strangelove looked like he was gonna climax?

“U.S. Government Has Built”

It should read “U.S. Government Has Spent”, just like Gavin’s high speed rail.
