Ukrainian forces have reportedly opened up a third vector of attack in Glushkovsky district, Kursk Oblast, this time towards the Novy Put tract.

They are taking advantage of bad weather conditions. Fierce battles are reported at these three points on the map. Rain is seriously complicating drone usage.

Trying to invade Russia again

Likely just a PR stunt ahead of Victory Day celebrations

Update on the operational situation in Glushkovsky district - 14:00 05/05/25:

Tetkino direction:
Ukrainian forces do not stop their attempts to break through the border. Infantry have managed to penetrate the border area and have entered the treelines southeast of Tetkino. It is unclear if any positions have been consolidated yet. A grey zone has been added on the map for now. Russian FPV drones and artillery is actively striking the manpower in the treelines. Further reinforcements are being brought up to the international border for future attempts to break through Russian positions.

Ukrainian tactical aircraft dropped glide-bombs on Russian positions in Tetkino, attempting to cover for the Ukrainian units advancing on the ground. Ukrainian Hexacopter “Baba Yaga” drones are operating throughout Tetkino, conducting drone drops on Russian movements and soldiers. Russia is countering this by striking at the Baba yagas with FPV drones.

Zarya direction (east of Tetkino):
Ukraine continues to bring equipment to the village of Bezsalivka in Sumy Oblast following the initial attempt to break through the border towards Zarya towards the rear of Tetkino. They are being targeted and destroyed by Russian artillery and FPV drones.

Novi Trud direciton:
Russian sources report that the Ukrainian forces who attempted to cross the border into the Novi Trud tract were destroyed, but that more than 300 infantry and up to 20 units of various armoured and light armoured vehicles (including IMR, UR, BBM and ATVs) were accumulated in the village of Pavlivka, Sumy Oblast.

Extremely high activity of FPV drones on both sides continue, with Russian drones striking Ukrainian IMR-2 mine clearers and other vehicles, including both ones still in Sumy Oblast and the ones which broke through the dragon’s teeth defences. Artillery is working extensively on both sides, targeting positions, infantry and vehicles.

Interesting source, when looked at more closely:

Realistic Pro-Ukr news account and mapper. Focusing on Ukraine & The Middle East.
If one views all sides in this war as invested in PR, then one must wonder at which are credible and which are not.

Very few are credible.

A person has to make up his/her own mind.

Trumps says 2 thousand soldiers are dying regularly in a senseless battle. Is this the Russias version of the Tet offensive

Trying to invade Russia again

No, they are making the Russians fight on the Russian side of the border. That means Russian property gets destroyed or looted by Russian troops and Russian conscripts die and get maimed in the fighting. It undermines support for Putin's war and his regime, and it looks bad for Putin to be watching a parade when the homeland is attacked.

Good source I have been following for awhile

At one time had Ukrainian flag in bio

Still pro Ukrainian but has been critical of their military decisions

Won’t sugarcoat bad news or bad map updates

The last invasion of Russia occurred because moron Brit generals convinced the Ukes it would work. It cost them badly. When will the Ukes ditch the generals from Mediocre Britain.

Rooskies don't either. So skepticism seems warranted on all sides.

Following the renewed Ukrainian assault operations in the Glushkovsky District of Kursk Oblast, Russian forces have intensified their strikes on the cities of Vorozhba and Bilopillya, forcing the evacuation orders for civilians from the cities. 500 civilians are expected to be evacuated tomorrow, with buses going to and from the cities daily.

Russian KAB glide-bombs, MLRS and artillery are striking the twin cities and their surroundings. These two cities are the primary staging ground and logistical hubs for the Ukrainian attacks into Kursk Oblast. Nearly all reinforcements and equipment flow through Vorozhba and Bilopillya.

In fact, Russia began targeting this area prior to the Ukrainian attacks, when previously they rarely attacked it, focusing on the Yunakivka, Myropillya and Krasnopillya areas to the southeast. This sudden and massive uptick in activity indicates that Russia knew of Ukraine’s plans to attack Glushkovsky district prior to the beginning of the assault operations and took countermeasures to mitigate the consequences of the attacks.

Not nearly as badly hurt as the Ukes. The phony pro-Uke Euro press, particularly the Brit papers are horrible, UNDERSTATING Uke casualties by more than 50% and overstating Russkie casualties by the same amount.

Listen to “The Duran” On Locals. They are Euros with really good sources that are not the warmonger Brit press.
