Thank you very much and God bless you.
Is Kent State still displaying that window art which features a drawing of the POTUS head stuck on a spear tip?
They probably do. Time to closely examine any federal funding.
That was the proper way to handle that or any riot!
yes it should have been the example to follow for the antifa riots
Wasn’t a protest. It was a criminal assault on the university and on the National Guard there to protect it.
oh crap, these still geezers doing this?
A very good friend of mine, had a parent who taught at KSU. My friend was a youngster at the time. She told me how TERRIFYING the night before (5/3) was, in Kent, Ohio. How students went thru the downtown of Kent, destroying everything in the path. Her mom came home that night, after grading papers at a local joint, and had no color left in her face, she was so frightened. The next day was NO SURPRISE to the locals.
I can’t wait until the usual suspects are all gone.
an all time fav...
“antifa riots”
Yes. Instead we got:
* a half year of riots
* “protests” at 220 U.S. locations; 570 violent incidents
* 2,000 police officers injured
* 25 dead
* arson, vandalism, and looting that caused $2 billion in damages nationwide (the highest recorded for civil unrest in U.S. history)
That song was a big part of that time.
Should have had this during the L.A. riots and the BLM riots.
I worked for a Air Force officer who went there 2 years after the shooting. Most everyone noted that there were crazy behaviors going on for two years prior to the shooting, with the local town asking for state police help....getting none. His description....it was a collection of nutcases pretending to go to classes....mostly partying/boozing-up. He didn’t think anyone working for the newspapers were willing to dig up the true situation.
This is what happens when you accept admittance to your “safety school.”
Local news showed the rioters charging the guard before the shooting.
CBS national news showed rioters chanting and then being shot.
Somehow, Walter Cronkhite managed to clip out several seconds of footage.
Probably just a mistake.
(((YAWN))) Sounds like the dumb bozos in the “media” have run out of things to whine about. This was 55 years ago.
A great day.
Hey ho, way to go, Ohio!
A “55th” anniversary of any event is strange. Why bring it up now?
I guess they fear all the hippies are dying off.
