I remember Trump renegotiating the AF1 contract in his 1st term and thought the planes had been delivered, amazing that 8 years later still not done.

Air Force One delay
Boeing’s delivery schedule has been delayed significantly. Internal estimates now suggest that the handover may not happen until 2035, more than ten years later than originally planned.
These delays are mainly due to engineering problems, such as issues with the aircraft’s door cutouts and complex wiring. These challenges have put more pressure on Boeing’s performance.
Before his first inauguration, Trump’s advisers explored whether the Boeing contract could be canceled or if legal action could be pursued.

Back in the 90’s I went to work at Boeing for National Missile Defense, their methodology for solving problems was to add another level of management. Caused a Charlie Foxtrot IMHO.

I think Boeing by is embezzling the money, laundering it and sending it to the rats.

Typo. The word “by” is redundant.

Boeing is cooked. They hired another accountant to lead, probably because they can’t find an engineer to do it. Rank and file will tell you about the in the line issues. The freeze plug is the new mascot of Boeing.

If it belonged to some high mucky-muck in Qatar, I’ll bet it’s already fancy schmancy. I didn’t see any pics of the interior, but that would be interesting.

The company emphasized, however, that its hiring practices are rooted in equal opportunity rather than fixed outcome targets, a sentiment likely aimed at countering concerns around DEI quotas.
Maybe having DEI quotas was a bad idea.

Considering their recent safety record it is probably best to not trust the new products anyhow. Safer to rebuild a classic from the frame up than trust their new stuff that is failing.

I was embedded at Boeing in Seattle for several weeks on the Future Combat Systems program. I have 33 years working at big companies in the military industrial complex. I was astonished at how bad everything was at Boeing. A complete management and production chaos generator. I talked to as many people as I could to get an overall impression. It was as if everyone there was in their own little world with minimal overlap. I have several times led transformational reorganizations. I can’t even imagine how you’d take what I saw and make it into a lean, competitive organization. It was too much, too big, too bloated and too entrenched.
