Connecticut used to be known as the "Arsenal of Democracy".

It is crazy for a state that used to be home to numerous firearms manufacturers to chase them out. Eli Whitney was a Son of Connecticut.

What's next? Going after insurance companies?

From Co-Pilot:

Stag Arms: The company announced in 2019 that it was moving out of its New Britain facility to a location with more support for the firearms industry.

PTR Industries: This manufacturer left Connecticut for South Carolina in 2013 after the state passed stricter gun laws.

These moves are often attributed to Connecticut's stringent gun regulations, which some in the firearms industry argue make it difficult to operate in the state.

Colt has had a long history in Connecticut, but it has faced challenges in recent years. While Colt has not fully relocated, the company has downsized and undergone financial struggles, including filing for bankruptcy in 2015. In 2013, Colt temporarily shut down its Connecticut plant so workers could protest proposed gun control legislation2.

Marlin Firearms closed its North Haven, Connecticut plant in 2011. The company, which was acquired by Remington Arms in 2007, moved its operations to Ilion, New York, as well as Kentucky and Missouri. The closure affected 265 employees and was attributed to rising costs and industry pressures.

And yet the Congress will fight like hell to make sure Fedgov doesn’t get sued such as discovery where the FiBs have mass murderers who were on the “radar” or “known” and did nothing. The government is disgusting.

Does this mean I can sue a lawmaker, if I am ever injured, maimed or killed, for creating a law that infringes upon my right to protect myself with a gun?

1996 here. Sad that this comes from the state of Colt Firearms.

That's idiocy. What they should do is allow them to sue DAs that won't prosecute, and Liberal Judges who let criminals go.

A monster cash cow for lawyers. Every case will be thrown out eventually but the litigants must still pay the lawyers.

That’s the ONLY purpose of this effort.
