The White House warned that Trump will veto a bipartisan Senate resolution that would terminate his sweeping global “Liberation Day” tariffs.
The statement of administration policy from the Office of Management and Budget, sent to congressional offices Monday, comes ahead of an expected vote this week forced by several Democrats led by Sen. Ron Wyden of Oregon and Republican Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky.

His Father and most Libertarians, would agree that taxation should be not on the backs of earners, but using tariffs to protect manufacturing. I can hardly understand the switch in Rands thinking.

LOL!! Rand gathering his RAT pals together to try to stymie President Trump’s tariffs. What a loser. The House has to vote on it, and Trump has already said he’d veto it if it came to his desk.
Tariffs are necessary to protect our industrial base. All you need to do is drive through the Great Lakes region of the country and see how “free trade” destroyed numerous communities. Thriving communities turned into hollowed out wastelands.
He likely sucks at that too, and ran for office because of it.
He may have the votes in the senate but it won’t even get to the floor in the house, and don’t forget Trump gets a vote.
