She should be forced to resign as a resident of Virginia or deny being a resident of Virginia and she admits she lied on her mortgage, which is fraud. Then she still needs to resign and go to prison.

She cannot claim ignorance, mistake or ignorance of the law. She prosecuted Trump for this.

I've set up a consulting firm where I use her excuses with the IRS.
Wish me luck.

As usual, democrats rarely pay for anything with their own money. The citizens of NY state should be up in arms about the use of state funds for the defense of her personal crimes.

The old, spineless GOP goober response to egregious, politically-motivated, leftist lawfare, like James’, would have been to sacrifice the attacked member of the herd to the lions, or to simply run-away, and be content they temporarily avoided political death.
The new, vastly-improved Trump philosophy is to give the attackers double the amount of lawfare, based on the facts of their actual corruption.

Try using the “mistakes and errors” excuse with the IRS after filing a bogus tax return. I’m sure they’ll be quite sympathetic.

Huh, it actually took less time than I expected for her to backpedal from 'I've done absolutely nothing wrong' to 'mistakes and errors.' I'll take it as a good sign that she's already backpedaling away from her initial denials.
To be precise, James herself didn't hire Lowell; her office did. "The attorney general’s office said that Lowell was hired by the attorney general’s office and not retained personally by James," reports the Times Union. Yes, that means taxpayers are footing her legal bills. Neat trick.
Uhh, her house purchase in Brooklyn (yes I know past statute of limitations), her apartment building in NYC, and her Virginia home have exactly what to do with her official capacity? So she's going to defend transparent fraud with... more transparent fraud?
Well I guess in fairness she's gotten away with it for at least 42 years from the documents that were published; why change tack now, right?

How stupid is this idiot?
She’s prosecuting people for minor crimes and making up new crimes.
She knows dirty Dems have her back

An average person might make one mistake but she had multiple
entries in question on her mortgage paperwork. Worse, because as a lawyer, she should know enough to double check what she’s signing. If she is that sloppy of an attorney, it’s time to give back her license to practice law!!
Methinks GUILTY as charged for fraud!
