President Trump Signs EO To OVERHAUL College Accreditation System

And will have to be adjudicated thru the courts
Until or unless SCOTUS trims their power or Trump defies them

The best solution is for Congress to act, but it doesn't. So POTUS is issuing EO's by the dozen. Congress can enact those EO's into law anytime, but it chooses not to act. Congress has a different agenda.

Accreditation agencies are like the rest of higher education. An incestuous organization that cannot be remorse’s from within. The people sent to review the institutions are themselves senior people from other left-wing institutions.

Performance based outcome measurement is the only hope of changing the institutions. I agree with others that student loans must be backed by the institution’s themselves.

It might be in the weeds, but K-12 private schools have to put up with the SAME CRAP, as the Left also took control of their accreditation system.

There should be a value scale on the majors that colleges offer. The hard sciences get a five per credit hour, and the woke social classes get a one or a two. Upon graduation, the hard sciences would have approx a 600 real world value, and the woke majors a 150 score.

I would like to see law schools judged by how many of its students pass the bar exam. It used to be that was the goal of a law school, but not after the ABA took over accreditation. Law schools used to teach the law of their state and how to pass the state bar exam, not advocacy and sophism. Those who start a graduate program and don't finish have a high rate of student loan default.
