This is Los Angeles repeated, the people of LA supposedly elected Karen Bass as Mayor who was supposed to fix everything as a long time US congress member, LA is now 1 billion dollars in the hole, all she did was cut the fire department, take off to Africa and the result was the fire hydrants were dry and city nearly burned to the ground, while she was in Africa.
Oakland has just done the same thing, elected a long time US Congressional Member who supposedly will fix everything. As bad as Oakland is in now, things will get progressively worse in the next 1-2 years.
