I don’t know, but the reports I hear from friends who’ve been to Paris say they have never treated Americans very nicely. Snobs. People in the countryside are nicer and the view there is a lot prettier. I’ve visited the French countryside myself and I agree.

So, they're afraid the French might treat us nicely?
That would be different.

So, why don’t the gutless idiots stay over there? I suppose visiting the cemetary at Normandy would make them feel shame.

Not to worry.
Just remind the that their 'shame and embarrassment' were annulled for all time at Normandy!

Hoping Parisians like us is a disgusting sentiment
Paris and the rest of France are great. The food, wine, the vistas. The flowers.
Touring Catholic religious sites, going on pilgrimages through Paris and the rest of France. I appreciate when I meet French people who realize how God blessed France
Why should any American give a crap what the parisians think sbout Trump, a subject they know absolutely nothing about, less than they know and care about how great America is. Our people saved them from the Nazis and they despise us.

The two times I’ve been to France I found Frenchmen to be real pricks. Both trips were during the Obama administration.

I’ve never been, but I hear that’s how most Europeans, not just the French, regard American tourists. Part of it was due to Americans assuming everyone speaks English. It is maybe basic English that they do speak, but Americans should try to learn their languages or at least show the effort.

I have found ordinary Europeans to be quite nice.
Unfortunately, a large percentage of their leaders stink as badly as our own and in some cases, worse.
