terming it as “economic slope” should be fine.
Correct.
“I am by no means an expert in these matters but I have a feeling that China needs us more than we need them to unload their goods. What’s anyone’ thoughts?z”
my gut says that the chinese economy is a house of cards and that’s why china is reacting so violently ...
“China furiously denounced Trump’s tariffs as “hegemonic” and called on the world to unite against Trump’s “bullying.””
Says the country that is slow rolling an invasion of the Philippines and Taiwan.
Everything comes from China, and other countries in the Nike-Slave-Trade business design.
lol... will do!
Burrying?
Everything becomes a crisis when dealing with China. That’s the part of their negotiating method that is similar to Trump’s. Which is it won’t work on Trump. Trump and China know the numbers, the rest is the show. In the end, the numbers win.
“Trump and China know the numbers, the rest is the show. In the end, the numbers win.”
agreed ... no doubt they both know the numbers and they both know the implication of those numbers, and there’s no way Donald Trump would embark on this course with china if he thought we could lose ...
this numbers game is true with the rest of our trading partners as well, and pretty much ALL of the ones that matter are already in the process of caving ... and the early cavers will get the best worms ... china’s gonna end up with the worst deal since they’ll stupidly hold out the longest ...
There’s no more positive way to instigate American manufacturing than shut down China imports. Necessity — the mother of invention. Scarcity — the mother of demand.
Bull! China’s crying because its open access to US’ military technology is dried up. Keep going, President Trump, you’re performing marvelously when these nations have held a free ride to the US are now crying their heads off.
While so many were crying about the stock market this week, I was quietly buying stocks at discounted prices and made money today because of “insider trading”! Yep...I recently re-read “The Art of The Deal” and that spelled it out!
The Chinese are just not that smart. Never have been and never will be. Case in point.
They manufactured ink pens for many years cheaper than anyone else, but the main part, the ball point had to be imported from Germany.
Now the leaders there wanted it to be complete Chinese, so they set out to manufacture the ball point. They finally got it done at a cost of billions of dollars and over 10 years of work. And it still isn’t as good as the German ones.
They exist on making cheap crap easy to make. Real precision work is not their cup of tea and it never will be...
Wrong, China needs us desperately but where are they going to sell all their stuff without us. The Eu can’t buy even 1/3 of what we spend.
China survives of exports. Without exports, they are toast...
I was telling people about this since last week. I’ve been buying everyday till today.
Chairman Xi no longer has any control over the Chinese military. Xi can’t do anything with them. I think the Military has had it with Xi’s purges.
Trump wants Xi to come to the U.S. I doubt he will because of the risk he will be ousted while he is away from China. Xi’s power had been increasingly undermined over the past year or two; and it’s only getting worse.
Yes. Yes it is.
Duh.
