POLL: Texas AG Ken Paxton Would Crush RINO Senator John Cornyn in GOP Primary

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton would crush RINO Senator John Cornyn in a Republican primary, a recent poll has found.

The poll conducted by Frabrizio, Lee & Associates found that Paxton would wipe the floor with Cornyn, a Republican establishment figure known for his closeness to fellow RINO Mitch McConnell and private disdain for President Trump.

An initial poll showed Paxton leading Cornyn 53 percent to 28 percent — a margin so wide it suggests the race may not even be competitive if the trend holds.

However, a second “informed ballot,” where respondents were given more information about the two candidates increased Paxton’s support to 70 percent while leaving Cornyn at a meager 14 percent.

The poll surveyed 600 likely GOP primary voters.

While Paxton—an outspoken ally of President Trump and the MAGA movement—has not officially declared his candidacy, he has repeatedly hinted at challenging Cornyn.

The two men share a deep animosity, particularly after Cornyn backed unsuccessful efforts by Democrats and establishment Republicans to impeach Paxton over trumped-up securities fraud charges.

Addressing a Turning Point USA event last December, Paxton was asked by an attendee whether he planned on throwing his hat in the ring for the Texas Senate race.

“How about if I say this? Not yet. We are definitely…..I am praying about it. We are looking at that.”

“I’m talking to a lot of people in Texas over the next couple of months. Ask me that question in a couple of months, and I’ll have a different answer.”

“So thank you. Let me ask this. This is like my first… I have not run a poll, so this is going to be my first poll. Who would want me to run?”

The crowd then roared with approval.

“That’s good,” he responded. “Let me just say that was a very encouraging response.”

Cornyn is toast. He will announce his retirement instead of running for reelection.

There’s only one way to prove it.

Paxton won’t run if there is any doubt he won’t win in the primary. That’s the way republicans are. Kay Baily should have known better than to challenge Perry, a sitting governor no one had a problem with.

Funny-the RFL look-alike should have challenged Cornyn not Cuz. Too early perhaps.

He’s a full bore anti-swamp MAGA Republican.

The rinos cooked up a completely fraudulent attempt to impeach him with the help of Democrats and got absolutely exposed as frauds.

I’d hate to lose him as our Attorney General, but he would be terrific in the senate. He seems unflappable.

I have flown a Texas flag here in PA because Ken Paxton tried to make the elections of 2020 right.

So Paxton needs to be impeached again. Besides he is too extreme and won’t cooperate in caving to the other side of the aisle.
