Sounds like the Russians have the US soldiers and the vehicle was disappeared. My personal guess.

Unfortunately, it’s known, they have to notify the families first. They are still pulling WW2 tanks out of eastern European bogs.

Remember watching, They Will Never Grow Old. One segment was about soldiers who got stuck in the mud. It was like quicksand. Once a guy fell off the duck work there was nothing they could do to save him.

AP style book violation!
“Swamp”’is an illegal usage.
Must be changed to “Wetlands”.

Perhaps NEXT TIME they won’t be in such a hurry to “Send Putin a Message” and they’ll instead FIRST make sure that where we send our troops is actually safe.

Swamp ground can appear solid until you step into it.
You think all those soldiers ,hikers and just lost person who died in normal appearing but treacherous bogs were DEI ?

I saw some documentary on tidal flats in a river bed in Alaska. A woman walked out on them looking for clams? and got buried up to he waist or deeper. Rescuers were unable to free her and she drowned when the tide rushed in.
To: McGruff
The poor guys probably drowned. It takes time to make the remains presentable and inform their families.

Not knowing how to read local terrain, they proceeded forward over what they mistakenly thought was soggy but passable terrain.

FR should have a rule that we at least wait until the bodies of our active duty soldiers are recovered when they die in training exercises before we can start mocking them and laughing at their deaths.

Here is cynical thought, they ditched the vehicle and took off, each on their own./s
