This legislation allows law-abiding citizens with a valid permit to carry a concealed firearm in other states that allow concealed carry.
Sponsored by @RepRichHudson, the bill will provide much-needed clarity for law-abiding gun owners nationwide.

Most states I travel to already reciprocate with my state. Is there concealed and carry at all in California? That’s the state I fear most traveling in unarmed.

I live in Maryland and am heading to Rhode island tomorrow. Once I depart MD, not one state recognizes the 2nd Amendment.

There is but not easy to get. Reciprocity? Don’t know. I disarm my truck when I know I’ll be crossing in to Mordor.

Most of CA is very safe. If you were to go armed into some of the bad areas just know that you will be severely out-gunned.

I would love this…I live in PA and carry all the time unless I go into NJ where I have to carry pepper spray.

You are aware that hollow points are illegal in NJ or Ma, I forget.

If you get a drivers license in one state all other states
recognize it. Drivers licenses are a “Privilege” not a right.
Carrying a gun is a right, but only a few states recognize it. I understand limits on where you can carry. like courtrooms, where very bad things happen to people.
But why is a right in a public area not recognized everywhere in the USA?

Criminal defense is free.
Medical care will crush you and your family.
Act accordingly.

I’m going with the wife and two grandsons soon. I’m not that much concerned where we’ll be going but am going to fly into Oakland. I flew to Oakland last year. When renting the car the agent asked if I was going to fill it up before I brought it back. She warned me not to stop at the nearest gas stations if I didn’t want to get mugged or carjacked.

Illinois has a weird law that says if you travel through the state without stopping, it’s OK to carry. I’m pretty sure that’s because of the Cairo bridge. It connects Kentucky with Missouri. Good for those Pubbies that live down there.

Hollow points will put you in jail, even if you have followed all the rules for interstate transport of firearms.

I live in the state of Georgia.
Until a couple of years ago, the law said:
anyone can carry a weapon (openly or concealed),
"if you obtained a carry permit"
(fingerprints, background check, waiting period, etc.).
A few years back the legislature amended that law to say:
anyone can carry a weapon (openly or concealed),
"if you were not prohibited from obtaining a carry permit".
[what a difference a few words can make]
It's all good here, unless you want to carry across state lines.
