Trump admin moves to crack down on illegal migrants living in public housing: ‘wasteful misappropriation’ of taxpayer money

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and Housing and Urban Development Secretary Scott Turner announced Monday that their agencies will work together to prevent illegal migrants from living in public housing.

The Trump administration aims to end the “wasteful misappropriation” of taxpayer money going to subsidize housing for illegal migrants by having DHS “identify illegal aliens who are ineligible for Federal housing assistance” to HUD, according to the new memorandum of understanding between the two agencies.

“American tax dollars should be used for the benefit of American citizens, especially when it comes to an issue as pressing as our nation’s housing crisis,” Turner said in a statement. “This new agreement will leverage resources including technology and personnel to ensure American people are the only priority when it comes to public housing.”

“We will continue to work closely with DHS to maximize our resources and put American citizens first.”

“The Biden Administration prioritized illegal aliens over our own citizens, including by giving illegal aliens taxpayer-funding housing at the expense of Americans. Not anymore,” Noem said in a statement. “The entire government will work together to identify abuse and exploitation of public benefits and make sure those in this country illegally are not receiving federal benefits or other financial incentives to stay illegally.”

“If you are an illegal immigrant, you should leave now,” the DHS chief added. “The gravy train is over.” ***

HUD cited data from the Center for Immigration Studies showing that about 59% of illegal migrant households benefit from at least one government welfare program, creating roughly $42 billion in costs. The agency said there are at least 9 million residents of public and subsidized housing “without proper information sharing to determine eligibility status.” ***

On December 23, 2022, Biden markedly changed the public charge rules pertaining to both legal and illegal immigrants. Under the Biden Regulation, illegals could avail themselves to tax payer funded housing, healthcare, food etc without being deemed a public charge.

The problem Trump and America now faces is that activist judges like Judge Boasberg AKA Judge Borscht-Belt, will issue injunctions, (wrongly) claiming that an Executive Order cannot recind a regulation.

Oh, oh. I hope some weird and freaky local District “judge” doesn’t make us turn our homes over to illegal aliens migrants. The Nazis weren’t even made to do that by local yokel “judges.”

By DESIGN.

Govt, at any level, couldn’t pass a basic audit it MANDATES upon the rest of the U.S.

Most legal & encompassing FIX: Terminate the illegal welfare state in all its shapes, matters, forms & types+.

The democrats, aided by biden, wanted to destroy this country as we know it by bankrupting it and transferring its money to non-Americans who would rape, steal from, assault and kill Americans and vote democrat.

They still plan to do that. Only they are not in power. Trump has thwarted their plans.

When Jack Kemp was in charge of HUD during Bush the Elder he forced the City of Costa Mesa to let illegal aliens live in HUD housing.

That was the official policy of the Republican party establishment, which was at war with grassroots Californians who were trying to do something about illegal immigration.

Require Real ID before allowed to move in.
(This is from AI Grok)

REAL ID is a federal law in the United States, officially known as the REAL ID Act of 2005, passed by Congress to establish minimum security standards for state-issued driver’s licenses and identification cards. It was enacted in response to the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks to improve the reliability and security of identification documents and prevent their fraudulent use, particularly for boarding domestic commercial flights and accessing certain federal facilities.

Here’s what it means in practical terms:

- **Purpose**: Starting May 7, 2025, you’ll need a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or ID card (typically marked with a star in the upper corner) or another federally accepted form of identification (like a passport) to board domestic flights in the U.S. or enter secure federal buildings, such as military bases or federal courthouses.

- **Requirements**: To get a REAL ID, you must provide documentation proving your full legal name, date of birth, Social Security number, two proofs of address, and lawful status in the U.S. (e.g., a birth certificate or passport). States issue these IDs, but they must meet federal standards, including enhanced security features like machine-readable technology.

- **Alternatives**: If you don’t have a REAL ID, a valid U.S. passport, passport card, military ID, or other approved documents can be used instead for the same purposes. A standard driver’s license (often marked “Federal Limits Apply”) won’t suffice after the deadline.

- **Current Status**: As of today, March 25, 2025, we’re about six weeks away from the enforcement date. All U.S. states and territories are now compliant with the REAL ID Act and issuing these IDs, though you might still need to apply in person at a DMV or similar agency with the required documents.

It’s not a separate ID card but an upgrade to existing state-issued IDs to make them more secure and standardized nationwide. It doesn’t replace a passport for international travel, nor does it affect other everyday uses like driving or voting (though some states have separate voter ID laws). If you’re unsure whether your ID is compliant, check for the star or contact your state’s driver’s licensing agency.

Don’t forget to include odoofus’ relatives living in public housing while he lives “high on the hog” with his multiple mansions around the country.
