Donald Trump is demonstrating a skill at backing his opponents into corners that he didn’t show in his first term.
Of course, it helps that his enemies are, unaccountably, cooperating.
One of Trump’s best moves has been, repeatedly, to get the Democrats to take the “20%” side on the so-called “80/20 issues.”
...
One reason he’s been able to do this is that Democrats reflexively oppose anything he does.
So when Trump promises to cut spending sharply and reduce the debt, Democrats go all-in against it, even though it’s something a huge majority of Americans support.
Agitating to continue waste, fraud and abuse — especially when there are truly glaring examples of it — is a bad look. But it was just the start.
Billions for USAID: An 80/20 issue. Dems took the 20% side.
Keeping boys out of girls’ sports: Another 80/20 issue, Dems took the 20% side.
Closing the border, energy independence, supporting Israel, deporting dangerous aliens, on and on.
...
Now Trump is drawing out the nation’s partisan district judges, causing them to overextend themselves in ways that will cost them — and the judiciary itself — a lot.
Lower-level federal judges have been issuing orders against the administration,
...
The ability of a single federal judge to block government action nationwide — let alone a president’s exercise of foreign policy — is not well established. It was a rare occurrence before Trump’s first term.

Good people are hated. Bad people are the popular ones. It’s a twisted fact of life.
I believe we’ve reached peak crazy. I thought we were there when the Left started gender identity surgeries on children. But apparently, the public wasn’t sufficiently engaged for politicians to put a stop to that. I think the fact that the body politic didn’t react then has led to an overreaction now. About time!
I’m waiting for a judge to tell the Trump team, “I find you use of this particular law in error, but I’m not going to find for the complainant because they’re crazy people.”
Some (maybe an understatement 🤔) judges are destroying the concern that judges are impartial triers of fact. Their actions are leading towards destruction of our legal system…. Exactly who would want that…. 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

Now Trump is drawing out the nation’s partisan district judges, causing them to overextend themselves in ways that will cost them — and the judiciary itself — a lot.
I do not see how exposing radical judges is going to cost the judiciary. If anything, removing these radicals will improve the judiciary; maybe even reduce the number of frivolous cases clogging the courts.
Judicial over reach is a very corrosive and dangerous act. What happens when people start ignoring the judiciary because of this and most law enforcement starts to refuse to enforce unjust, unethical and probably unconstitutional orders from the judiciary? Some law enforcement will comply some will not. What follows is societal chaos and violence.
Those unjustly persecuted will become the hunters against the unjust in the judiciary and law enforcement. Honest law enforcement will just sit this one out.
“Donald Trump is demonstrating a skill at backing his opponents into corners that he didn’t show in his first term.”
~~~
I would suggest that unlike his first term, he isn’t walking on eggshells.
Trump knew, from the first moment of his campaign when he found out they were spying on his communications that the “deep state” was going to do him in. His focus was almost completely risk averse, and I am not criticizing, because despite their efforts to manufacture crimes, they couldn’t bring him down. So he succeeded in that regard.
But not this time. He wont make that mistake again. Everything this time is about winning fast and hard.
Democrats being backed into the corner is a symptom, not a goal.
“One reason he’s been able to do this is that Democrats reflexively oppose anything he does. “
That part is very true. It has been that way for 9 years.
Democrats will completely flip their position on issues based purely on taking the opposition position that Trump has.
But still, I don’t think Trump primary motivation is to back democrats into corners. He is just going to try like mad to fulfill his campaign promises.
Democrats are in a lose/lose-more conundrum. They lose by doing nothing and letting Trump succeed, because Trump is on the right side of most issues as far as the voters are concerned, and they don’t want him succeeding.
But they lose more by opposing him, particularly if they can’t control the narrative anymore. They look like the bad guys now. Democrats are the boogymen.
Actually I am glad. We are all seeing how corrupt and politicized the courts and judges have become, not exclusively against or for politicians, but the extent of their general corrupted philosophy which effects each one of us.
By those who control the media, yes.
Reflecting on the Supreme Court especially fearful leader Roberts.
Almost (if not all) law schools are liberal. Why wouldn’t we expect a large number of lawyers (and judges) to be liberal?
Of course, like most liberals, they are largely hypocrites who bill enormous fees and live large, while parading as social justice warriors.
While Lawfare is relatively new and reserved for conservatives, liberal judges have been with us for quite a while and now this environment has made them brazen.
We’ve heard for decades from law enforcement that they do their work and judges let criminals walk.
It’s time for AMERICANS to start protesting at these so-called courts. They are communist headquarters.
James is great, I write to him all the time on Twitter and he’s answered a few times, he’s a real brilliant down to earth guy who was blacklisted by these leftist scumbags in Hollywood. His own agent dumped him if you can believe it because of Woods conservative beliefs.
The author’s premise is valid on many issues, but on cutting waste and fraud, reducing deficit spending, etc., the Dems’ prime concern is losing the stolen goods.
This is a coordinated effort to manufacture a bill of impeachment should the Dems take the house in 2026.
“DimWITS OPPOSE EVERYTHING Trump does”not explain their opposition to identifying wasteful spending.
The DimWITS OPPOSE Musk because the DimWITS used Ukraine as their piggy bank. Zelinkski said Ukraine only got a fraction of the $$ the DimWITS SENT.
USAID provided $BILLIONS to scams like Queer plays in Ireland. The $$ didn’t go to Ireland, the $$ went to DimWITS POCKETBOOKS! When the full spending scams are identified, DinWIT arrests will flood the airways.
The stock market alone is only part of how DimWITS ALL become multi millionaires. For example: Those ghost Federal employee’s paychecks eventually find their way to DimWIT bank accounts as does overseas queer plays $$,
The DimWITS and RINOS are terrified of what comes next.
The judicial branch is disposed to evil and always has been.
Decisions against Dred Scott, Oliver Plessy, and Carrie Buck and the decision for Jane Roe/Norma McCorvey PROVED how evil a majority of nine empty robes can be.
lawyers need to pass a bar exam to get a license to practice law.
The bar association is a private organization, not regulated or overseen by any government agency.
And the lawyers that run the bar associations across the U.S. are leftists.
