Here's is a summary of the video (taken from the transcript):
Per youtube about this show:
Drones have repeatedly swarmed sensitive military sites. Current and former Air Force generals, along with a senior member of Congress, say the incursions pose a security threat.
Summary of the 60 Minutes Segment on Unidentified Drones Over U.S. Military Bases
- Overview of the Drone Incursions
- The head of NORAD and NORTHCOM informed Congress that some of the mysterious drones seen flying inside the U.S. may have been spying, though he did not specify for whom.
- 60 Minutes investigated drone incursions over sensitive military and civilian sites, particularly in New Jersey and Langley Air Force Base (AFB), Virginia.
- The drones often flew undetected and left without being tracked.
- Langley AFB Drone Incursion (December 2023)
- Over 17 consecutive nights, drones repeatedly flew over Langley AFB, forcing the relocation of F-22 Raptor fighter jets for security reasons.
- Eyewitness Account: A civilian, Jonathan Butner, saw and recorded over 40 drones from his cabin near the base. He provided footage to the FBI.
- Drone Characteristics:
- Some were as small as quadcopters, while others were the size of a small car.
- The drones flew in formation, had different speeds and altitudes, and some were loud while others were silent.
- They arrived like clockwork, 30 to 45 minutes after sunset.
- Military Response and Inability to Track the Drones
- NORAD and NORTHCOM deployed fighter jets, helicopters, and airborne radar systems, but failed to track or identify the drones.
- Retired General Glenn VanHerck (former NORAD commander) admitted that the U.S. military was not equipped to detect or track low-flying drones, calling it a serious security vulnerability.
- The drones could be seen with the naked eye but did not appear on military radar due to technology gaps.
- The military was unable to determine where the drones came from or where they went.
- Other Incidents of Drone Incursions
- Naval Warships (2019) – U.S. warships off California were shadowed for weeks by multiple drones.
- Palo Verde Nuclear Plant (2019) – Largest nuclear power plant in the U.S. had unauthorized drones flying overhead.
- Experimental Weapons Site (2024) – In Southern California, where next-generation stealth bombers are being developed.
- Picatinny Arsenal (2024, New Jersey) – 11 drone sightings over a military weapons development site.
- UK Airbase (2024) – Swarm of drones disrupted operations at a U.S. nuclear weapons storage site.
- Possible Explanations and Investigations
- FBI Investigation – Ongoing, but no public answers on the drones' origins or operators.
- Spy Drones? – Senator Roger Wicker (Chair of Armed Services Committee) suggested they are foreign espionage drones.
- White House Response – President Biden was briefed on the Langley intrusions, but a senior White House official later downplayed the incident, claiming the drones were likely hobbyist drones—a claim dismissed by military officials.
- Security Implications & Concerns
- Drones as a Threat – Drones can drop bombs, conduct surveillance, or disable aircraft (similar to tactics used in Ukraine against Russian forces).
- F-22 Relocation – Some of Langley’s F-22s were moved to another airbase to protect them from a potential attack.
- Lack of Urgency – Retired NORAD commander VanHerck criticized the Pentagon, White House, and Congress for underestimating the drone threat.
- General Gregory Guo (Current NORAD Commander):
- Admitted that the military was caught off guard by the drone threat.
- Acknowledged that if the Langley incursion happened again today, NORAD still might not be able to detect it.
- Future Countermeasures
- New Anti-Drone Technologies:
- Improved radar systems being installed at strategic bases.
- "FlyAway Kits" – Mobile counter-drone technology packages for military installations.
- Coordination Authority:
- In November 2024, General Guo was given authority to coordinate counter-drone efforts across military, intelligence, and law enforcement agencies.
- One-Year Timeline for Countermeasures – General Guo aims to have new detection and response systems in place within a year.
Conclusion
- Drones repeatedly penetrated highly secure U.S. military sites, including Langley AFB, naval warships, and nuclear facilities, and left without being tracked.
- The military lacks the radar capabilities to detect low-flying drones and has no clear jurisdictional authority to respond effectively.
- Intelligence agencies are still unsure who is behind the drone incursions, but military officials strongly reject the "hobbyist" explanation.
- Congress and military leaders recognize this as a major national security risk, but no immediate solutions are in place.
- Future counter-drone technologies are being developed, but full capabilities won’t be operational for at least another year.
Key Takeaway
This ongoing drone mystery remains unsolved, raising serious concerns about U.S. airspace security, foreign espionage, and potential drone-based attacks on critical military infrastructure.

I can see a few reasons why we might want to do this and keep it secret.
1. See what information can be revealed if an adversary sent drones.
2. Test the ability of our drones to detect materials using hi-tech sensors.
3. Test our ability for early detection and deterrence.
It would almost be negligent if we didn’t.

The drones often flew undetected and left without being tracked. So, how do they know they were there?

He must have meant undetected by radar. They were visible and video/photographed, even by civilians.

Notice how the government tries to change the lexicon on you. Yesterday I posted a vacuous government report on chemtrails, which our masters of deception want us to believe are nothing but contrails and today they are doing the same with UFOs by claiming they are drones. They would send you to jail for disinformation if they could while they are the biggest purveyors of deception and disinformation out there. The aliens, however, will keep banging on their door until the government has to fess up that while it claims to be all knowing and in absolute control over our lives it doesn’t have a clue how to control ETs.

I wouldn’t too quickly exclude that they were in touch with the enemies who sent the drones and knew of their celebratory whoops and claims.

He must have meant undetected by radar I think so as well. It would be wonderful if those knot-heads would learn to use their language.

They never did tell us what the drones were over New Jersey a few months ago in the pre-election period.

The White House said they were FAA-approved research drones.

True. But when someone as worthless as 60 Minutes covers an issue that no one else is covering, it's worth checking out.
I provided a summary so that no one has to watch the video.

I don't regard my government as my enemy as do so many on this site. I think the problem is a subset within the government.
It is also clear to me that not every agency within the government knows what the UFOs are or from whence they come. This applies to major portions of the military. So, when they say "I don't know", I believe them. You can't cover up what you don't know. The very vast majority of the government is not "read in".
There is someone in or "about" government who knows. They are not in any chain of command. That is not proper, yet that is the way of it; and, that is what needs to be broken.
Finally, I suspect the public would not be able to cope with the truth, particularly the "steadfast deniers". Their psychology would break before they could accept the truth. To my way of thinking, I'd prefer that those folks be broken so the rest of us can move along.
