Ukraine agreed to a 30-day ceasefire with Russia after negotiations with the United States.
Late last month Trump abruptly ended his meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky after a blow-up in the Oval Office.
A defiant and ungrateful Zelensky was told to leave the White House and not come back until he’s ready for peace talks.

Following the Oval Office blow-up, President Trump paused all military aid to Ukraine after Zelensky suggested the war with Russia would last a long time.
The pause halted all military aid that was currently in transit to Ukraine.
President Trump also stopped sharing critical intelligence with Ukraine until Zelensky moved toward a peace plan with Russia.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio met with Ukrainian delegation in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia this week and after several hours of negotiations, Ukraine agreed to a ceasefire.
In a statement, the US said it “will immediately lift the pause on intelligence sharing and resume security assistance to Ukraine.”
Ukraine said it would accept a 30-day ceasefire with Russia after talks with the U.S. in Saudi Arabia aimed at ending the fighting on Tuesday, according to a statement issued by the U.S. and Ukraine.
The agreement came after more than eight hours of negotiations between Ukrainian officials and a U.S. delegation led by Secretary of State Marco Rubio in the Saudi city of Jeddah.
“Ukraine expressed readiness to accept the U.S. proposal to enact an immediate, interim 30-day ceasefire, which can be extended by mutual agreement of the parties, and which is subject to acceptance and concurrent implementation by the Russian Federation,” the U.S. and Ukraine said in a joint statement released by the State Department. “The United States will communicate to Russia that Russian reciprocity is the key to achieving peace.”
This should never have happened and wouldn't have happened if it weren't for the 2020 steal.
Have the Russians agreed to the cease fire?

Some days the two slavic cousins may wish that there were a lot more slavic cousins like before the war, it’s a dangerous world, including their neck of it.
The problem here is that there’s no incentive for Russia to sign onto it. The minute a so-called 30 day interim cease-fire takes effect, British French and Polish troops will flood in as peacekeepers. British and French jets will flood into Ukrainian air bases. And at that point, for nothing in return, Ukraine will have defacto NATO status. Russia can no longer attack them without killing NATO soldiers. They will have achieved no relief of sanctions, no return of their confiscated gold, no gas deal, no formal recognition of Donbass and Crimea as Russian territory, etc.
at that point Ukraine is free to start a terrorist campaign inside Russia, with bombings, assassinations, mass shootings, etc. and Russia would no longer be able to retaliate. I wonder how they’re going to get Russia to agree to this, since it largely achieves Ukrainian war aims, and kills theirs?

Maybe there’s some plan to sweeten the deal, but it’s hard to imagine why Russia would agree to it, because no matter how much they call it temporary, it’s permanent, combined with de facto NATO protection from that moment on. We are the ones who want to extract ourselves from it, we are the ones who want to stop spending money there, and Russia is doing pretty well. It’s hard to imagine why they would sign onto it.

The Lord Jesus Christ could appear in the sky, white doves could flutter all over Ukraine, Russians and Ukrainians could prayerfully embrace in the Donbass. And they will die and go to hell before they will give Donald Trump a Nobel peace prize.
I think Trump is doing the best possible that anyone could. But the inescapable truth is that we are negotiating in Ukraine‘s favor, and Russia is smart enough to see that. Really the best thing for America would be to wash her hands of it, drop all sanctions, withdraw from NATO, and walk away.

I would say there are probably bargains being made to address a lot of your valid concerns. I do not expect it will be all Ukraine way. I wouldn’t expect President Putin to sign something like that either. Both sides will give and both sides will not like some things. The very essence of compromise.
NATO are committed to getting the US into WW III. They hate our country and us. They want to be close enough to Russia to be able to throw snowballs at the Kremlin and break windows with them.
NATO should have been disbanded in 1991 when Gorbachev and Reagan tore down the Berlin Wall and Germany was reunited. It had no use after that. We need to get the hell out of NATO and fast.

I can’t remember who, but someone here today pointed out that however this ends in a cease-fire, it’s a Shurbet that Ukraine is going to launch a series of terrorist attacks, targeted bombings, assassinations etc. They can’t wait to do that from behind the NATO shield. When the country is flooded with British and French soldiers, and NATO war planes in Ukrainian skies. No matter how you slice it, Ukraine is an extremist country as bad as any Islamic country. I can’t see a signature on a paper bringing it to a stop. Guess we’re going to find out. Just hope we don’t get nuked in the process!
