The city of LA for the scale of the disaster.
Sheesh
Sue the utility company that maybe started the fire, but not sue themselves for inadequate capabilities, neglect, incompetence, and response?
Utilities cannot safely operate energized high tension lines over flammable burnable brush. It’s science man.
The left hates that people have energy.

Well, yes. But Mother Erf screams when you cut away flammable burnable brush.
So please leave it alone.
No Problem, in an effort to Mitigate any future Damages, SCE should just ABANDON the High Voltage Transmission Lines, DISCONNECT them and put them up for sale on Ebay.
Leftist governments are always on the hunt for sources of revenue - tax, lawsuits, Federal aid, stolen property, USAID, whatever
Its how they fund their vast patronage network and stolen elections.
Judging from all the new conferences during the fires, it appears that all the braindead, far-left ditzy broads and lesboa they elected were the real problem.
Perhaps Edison was correct, we should have adapted DC current. :)
when are conservative states going to start suing environmental groups over the man made global warming scam?
So rates will go up.
It will be cheaper to run my Honda generator on CA priced gas!
Southern California Edison is owned by Edison International, a holding company.
Jennifer Granholm was just named to the Board of Edison International.
I believe this company is tightly intertwined with the Democratic Party, public unions and government
I'd say they pay for anything within a one mile circle.
In the interim, lawyers get paid. Arbitrators get paid. Bureaucrats get paid.
Work this out in a lovely super-majority Democrat California in a destructive manner, and Edison International exits the state in slow motion, while the oil and gas industry exits the state in slow motion, while some insurers exit the state rather more abruptly....
Newsom and Bass still trying vainly to deflect from their own incompetence.
I find the cause of fire questionable. Is there any physical evidence that power line sparks are the cause?
We live in a wooded area and often have high winds in dry weather. Yet we have few forest fires and none of what we do have are attributed to power line sparks. I’ve watched power lines sway in the wind and they never come close enough to each other to spark.
And fires being blamed on power line sparks come mostly from Kalifornia.
I just wonder if a protected class person set the fire and they need an alternative bad guy to blame.
