United States Ends Intelligence Sharing With Ukraine, Bans Allies From Passing on American-Origin Observation
Breitbart ^ | 5 Mar 2025 | Oliver JJ Lane

The United States has now suspended the provision of military intelligence with Ukraine as part of the freeze on assistance until Ukraine chooses President Trump’s path to peace and comes to the negotiating table, a report states.

Intelligence sharing between Washington and Kyiv has been stopped, London’s Financial Times reports, citing “officials”. Access to the products of the highly developed Western intelligence establishment has lent a serious edge to Kyiv over the numerically superior Russian forces, allowing it to direct strikes with precision, including in the increasingly prominent realm of drone warfare.

Strikes including the destruction of major Russian warships using uncrewed bomb boats and cruise missiles far from observation by land have previously been said to have been coordinated with American intelligence, which is collected by assets including satellites and drones over the Black Sea.

The United States is the senior partner in the Five Eyes intelligence sharing network, an association of anglophone nations the U.S., the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, which co-circulate the product of their spy networks without redaction or control. It is perhaps the closest intelligence agreement between sovereign states in history and has been invaluable through the Cold War, the War on Terror, and in neatly circumventing laws against spying on the citizens of member states.

Per a report in The Daily Mail, the United States, as part of turning off the intelligence tap to Ukraine, has already moved to prevent its close allies from either deliberately or inadvertently continuing to send reports to Kyiv. This has, the paper states, come in the form of an explicit order to London to stop sending Washington-derived intelligence to Kyiv, and the suspension of what it describes as the ‘Rel UKR’ classification, apparently standing for ‘releasable to Ukraine’.

Nevertheless, President Zelensky appears to have thought better of his position of last week, and is now claimed to have written to President Trump to assure future cooperation. President Trump quoted the letter to Congress on Tuesday night, stating it said: “We do really value how much America has done to help Ukraine maintain its sovereignty and independence. Regarding the agreement on minerals and security, Ukraine is ready to sign it at any time that is convenient for you.”

So the U.S. has now stopped providing Ukraine intelligence about Russian missile attacks on its population centers. Trump did this so he can be neutral and broker a deal with Putin, a man who has broken every deal on Ukraine he made, and the Budapest Memorandum which he inherited.

I suspect Japan, Israel and France will step in. This is a wonderful opening for them to get a foot in the door and sell their weapons and intelligence. In a game with this many moving pieces there are always reactions to any action.

The media is handling this story this morning incorrectly.

The denial of targeting information to Ukraine for objects inside Russia is largely insignificant because the explosives payloads were never large.

What DOES matter is the capacity for Russian forces to mass in given locale somewhat invisibly. Then the Ukraine forces cannot respond until it is far too late and advances have been secured.

If I were the Russians right now, I would not mass and make a charge, unopposed to, say, Odessa. They cannot trust the US deep state on this matter quite yet, but time will pass and their moles within the Ukraine military will be able to inform the Russian military if some batallion sized movement is being countered — or indeed the Russian assets in orbit could do the same thing. Test with a massing of forces and watch to see if there is no response.

Then . . . advances will be unopposed.

I looked at this. The UK’s first military satellite launched Sept 2024. Israel orbital assets are not numerous and concentrate entirely on their own enemies. Japan has nothing in orbit of military quality.

These are all low altitude vehicles and are thus overhead only about 10-13 mins. You have to have many following each other to get protracted observations.

People have not yet realized, but they will, that this is THE most important part of military aid witheld.

And as usual, a Zeeper only deals with the part of the Zelensky picture that is positive and refuses to bring in all of the truth where Zelensky is concerned:

The truth you left out:
  1. The US was behind the color revolution in 2014 (Obama/Nuland/McCain and others) to remove a popularly elected Pro-Russian President of the Ukraine.
  2. Zelensky shelled Russian speaking enclaves in Eastern Ukraine before the current war started.
  3. Zelensky discriminated against ethnic Russans in Eastern Ukraine using the Ukrainian legal system.
  4. Zelensky banned competing political parties
  5. Zelensky banned the Russian Orthodox Church
  6. Zelensky banned elecctions
  7. You mention how Putin reneged on everything but failed to mention the same behavior by Zelensky, Why???
Why is it Zeepers refuse all the truth?

I support Trump, and I've donated generously to his campaign. This with this policy, I strongly disagree.

Who cares

Obviously the people Putin killed in Ukraine, like those in Butcha can't.

This is great news who want to see Putin kill those in Ukraine, and weep over dead Russian troops.

Enjoy your victory. I'm sure Ronald Reagan is smiling on you.

Which is the greater evil, Zelensky or Putin?

Which one is a confirmed war crimes tyrant, and which one has a massive record as a homicidal maniac and is a known psychopath and sociopath, with genocidal tendencies which are part of his 'leadership' resume?

Zelensky may not be a saint, but Putin is the devil's bodyguard.

You are so deeply invested in everything Putin pumps your way.
Got it, Ukraine provoked Russia.
Unbelievable.

Who cares what Putin did. It is the weak versus the strong, that is the only law that matters. If America is to be strong, it needs strong allies.

Frankly, the only good thing Zenlensky did was ban the Orthodox church. Christianity has turned the West into a victim mentality culture.

I understand. I'm with you. Did you not see the smiley face at the end of my post? I don't use sarcasm tags, and I prefer smiley faces to indicate accordance with what's posted which might also indicate that, you are 'asking for it', which I'm sure you've already noticed by the posts that followed your post.

But the victim mentality culture was created and perpetuated by the anti-Christians.

The victim mentality culture is in direct opposition to Biblical doctrine.

Speaking of weak and strong—the weakest of the weak are those who deny the existence of truth and/or that we are able to access it.

I’m suspecting there has been a deal made between Trump and Putin about this. That’s the only explanation I can think of. Plus, the Starlink problems in the last few days.

Maybe Russia said “Before we can start seriously talking, stop assisting with these long range attacks.”

I don't see how you can come to that conclusion. Even the term "Social Justice" is a Christian term. Even the strong play the victim card nowadays. Pretending that the world is run by what is fair is a recipe for disaster. The current problems we have are almost entirely down to our Christian roots.

I won't deny there are good and strong Christians as individuals, but all-in-all it is what Nietzsche called "slave morality". It is a way for the weak to fight back against the strong by using manipulation and fear.

This is better than Excellent!!

This says that President Trump is aware that EU "Intelligence" Agencies, and Five Eyes are untrustworthy.

Hopefully, President Trump will punish them for a permanent reminder of what they have done when they Back stabbed the American People.

What this really means is that the Russians will be able to pound Ukrainian cities more successfully. The Ukrainians rely on US satellite intelligence for early warning of Russian air attacks, both to intercept those and to warn civilians to take shelter.
