*IF* they’re going to give assistance for food, it needs to be more like WIC, where it’s for certain food items, like milk, bread, eggs, cheese, PJ&J, chicken fruits and veggies, etc. NO desserts or snack foods allowed.

I know entire departments of kids at Ivy League Universities who all get food stamps. It’s not even fraud. The just go to their local welfare office, claim they have limited income (they are students after all) and just sign up.
these are kids from rich families who go to work for JP Morgan and Google when they graduate.....

Selling those federal buildings may be a hard slog. There probably won’t be that much demand if federal workforce is downsized and lobbyists won’t have a need to congregate in the beltway to conduct their grift. Don’t see DC being the “draw” it once was if the center of power is moved to flyover locations of US.
If you pull up the GSA list only ten percent of the buildings are located in DC.
Wear it as a badge of honor.
Handouts from the government should come with strings attached.
