MIAMI (AP) — A group of American citizens and immigrants is suing the Trump administration for ending a long-standing legal tool presidents have used to allow people from countries where there’s war or political instability to enter and temporarily live in the U.S.

The lawsuit filed late Friday night seeks to reinstate humanitarian parole programs that allowed in 875,000 migrants from Ukraine, Afghanistan, Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua and Venezuela who have legal U.S. resident as sponsors....

They can legally stay in the U.S. until their parole expires, but the administration stopped processing their applications for asylum, visas and other requests that might allow them to remain longer...

Trump ordered an end to “categorical parole programs” the day he returned to office....

How is it that one sponsor can sponsor 79 individuals and another 17 individuals? What's in it for these sponsors?

It may help clarify things if we use the phrase “human trafficking operation” instead of “sponsor” —

Feb 21, 2025 — Episcopal Migration Ministries builds a foundation
for refugees “forced from home and country” to thrive across the United States of America.

“EMM budget figures for 2024 are not available, but in 2023 EMM earned
$53 million from various tax-funded govt programs to resettle 3,600 aliens.”

An incentive for Episcopal “Bishop” Mariann Budde’s
message of defiance.......lecturing Trump at prayer service

Once again we have the notion that the President of the United States has the power to start doing an action because he is President and head of the executive branch, but once he exercises that power, it no longer matters that he is President and head of the executive branch because he lacks the same power to stop doing that action.

Trumps shoring up our country.....in ‘all’ ways.....the potential for WW3 looms large.

This ‘coalition’ of UK,France, Germany and ‘the willing’ is exactly how they did Regime Change with Gadaffi, Assad, Egypt etc.....without declaring war or having congress to ok it....now they're going after the big prize - Putin- the same way... using Zelensky/Ukraine as the excuse..and hard leftist Uk Starmer taking the lead....

Trumps in their way with his Ukraine plan and why Zelensky keeps playing the US along...time an again speaking out of both sides of his mouth.....they on’t know if US will go along with this coalition or not..... This is a dangerous place the world is in right now.....another reason Trump wants the "invaders' out of country fast....and just sent another 3000 of our troops there. I hope I'm wrong!

history state.gov

The Immigration Act of 1924 limited the number of immigrants
allowed entry into the US through a “national origins quota.”

The quota provided immigration visas to 2% of the total number of each nationality
in the US as of the 1890 national census. It completely excluded immigrants from Asia.

The Euroweenies were very critical of Reagan when he took a hard line with the USSR, but now that the USSR is no more they are becoming hardliners with Russia. My general feeling is that if Putin were a definitive Communist they wouldn't be going after him.

It’s waaaaay past time to stop nonprofit rip-offs. All of ‘em.

And yeah, that includes “churches” paid to bring in the third world - basically selling citizenship. Trump needs to shut this stuff down.

Nope. Sorry. Overfilled beyond belief as it is. We’ve done more than our share and there are dozens and dozens and dozens and dozens of other countries who could take a turn.

But we’re ending the war, no? Time for all Ukrainian “refugees” to go home!

“if Putin were a definitive Communist they wouldn’t be going after him.”

If Putin supported LGBT they would not be going after him.

The left has one goal in international relations—make the world safe for perverts.

Everything else is noise.

Anyone can sue anyone else for any reason…it doesn’t mean that you will win.

In this case, look at it differently - could a lawsuit seeking to compel a President to give out humanitarian parole to any group be successful? No, obviously not, as that power is solely vested in the President and is totally discretionary. Well, so is continuing said status. This suit is going down in flames, certainly at the Circuit Court level (because there are so many purely political District Court judges who are drunk on their perceived power, there’s never a certain result at that level).

A: Illegal (govt having ZERO Const. authority to ‘give’ to any entity, in this case NGOs, for *checks doc* ANY reason) taxpayer $$ w/o accountability.
