They need our military and our money.

Europeans do not believe Russia will stop with Ukraine.

Personally, I don’t believe Russia will ever invade France or England because of their nukes.

Ukraine could end the war tomorrow if they chose to…. The EU has delusions about how this war ends though.

...underscoring Europe’s reluctance to cast off a trans-Atlantic alliance that has kept the peace for 80 years.

Underscoring their desire to keep using the US as their defense shield while not spending on their own defense.

Russia can’t invade any where. Russia is on her ass.

Her vaunted military has been shown to be a farce. Even reinforced with NORK cannon fodder, Russia can’t retake the Kursk incursion.

Everybody except Terror supporting Freepers knows it

FORCE A CHOICE! EUROPE CAN CHOOSE UKRAIN OR AMERICAN. THEY CAN NOT HAVE BOTH. As a vet who served in NATO I say the organization has outlived its usefulness.

You mean it isn’t a bulwark against the Warsaw Pact anymore? Oh look it’s 2025. How long have I been asleep?

Preach it.

Our concern is here in our own hemisphere.

Our attention should be that as well as the pacific rim. Some African and some India region.

Freindly trade with all and entanglements with none.

“. . . bolster their support” is an admission that they weren’t doing enough in the first place.

Europe wants to be the equal of the United States.
Well, go for it.
And don’t come back begging for our help.

There is a more compelling reason why Russia would not invade France or the UK.

Neither have anything that Russia does not already have in greater quantity, specifically oil and gas, the lifebloods of civilization.

Europe is filled with Islamic refugees who every once in awhile go out and rape somebody or burn up some cars. Why would Russia want this?

Oil is everything. The eastern border of the Donbas is less than a hundred miles from Volgograd, which is the choke point for about 1/2 of Russia’s oil flow out of the Caspian region north to Moscow. NATO troops could never be allowed that close. It would be like inviting Hitler (a European) to come repeat his attempt to take Stalingrad in order to choke off the oil.

Oil is everything. You can start and end all of your analysis from that reality.

Trump cutting Ukraine loose will have the great side-effect of making the Euroweenies actually stand up and defend themselves for once this past 100 years.

It's not a bad thing.

Yeah?
Can they convince that little peacock to step down and, Perhaps, allow the people to elect a government that is, for once, NOT corrupt?

Just maybe it is time for the euros to pay for these insane ideas with their own troops, their own money and so forth. Make the uber-wealthy in these countries cough up some cash...stop the socialistic BS that runs through their societies...and so forth.

In short...who cares? Europe is overrated.

American $$$ and arms are keeping the Ukrainian Army in the fight. They will eventually run low on ammunition without American support. The Russians have more meat to throw at the grinder.

European leaders scrambled on Sunday to salvage Ukraine’s relationship with the United States…

Yeah, because they don’t want to be the ones getting hit up for money all the time by this panhandler.

Hey, Europe! Biden’s gone and the new sheriff in town isn’t playing Zelensky’s grifting games. He’s all yours! Muahahahahaha!
