Summary:
Known by some for alcohol use excesses (NYT later confirmed) he was rumored to be a drug user.
Finally he was shown on video lighting and smoking cocaine. The arrest and subsequent trial and conviction for cocaine offenses precluded Barry from seeking re-election, and he served six months in a federal prison.
After his release, he was elected to the Council of the District of Columbia in 1992.
He was elected again as mayor in 1994, serving from 1995 to 1999.
Voters know a hero when they see one.
They ran him out on sex charges but he did not get the message…. Guess the Killer’s back!

They should have been arrested, tried, sentenced and executed by hanging for mass murder, crimes against humanity, crimes against the elderly and a host of others. But no, because they ALL have the big “D” after their names which gives em a free pass on everything. But hey, IF NYC wants this evil SOB, they can have him....

The headline makes it sounds as if he is no longer the guy who killed a bunch of old people.
This man infected rest homes with covid and killed hundreds of grandparents and parents.

The NYC rats will vote for him by a landslide. I think I heard he’s already 30-sometime points ahead of the other rats running.
