Zelensky claims ‘not sure that we did something bad’ after Trump Oval Office blowup — but ‘of course’ can fix bond

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky denied wrongdoing Friday night in his first public remarks since a major Oval Office argument with President Trump that cast the future of his country’s conflict with Russia into doubt.

“I’m not sure that we did something bad,” Zelensky told Fox News chief political anchor Bret Baier when asked if he owed Trump an apology for clashing with him and Vice President JD Vance — before saying moments later that “of course” the relationship between the men can be mended.

“I respect the president and I respect the American people,” the 47-year-old leader said in the interview, without admitting fault.

Undoubtedly, while meeting Z. immediately before the Oval Office meeting, a few Senate RINOs and RATS were egging him on and encouraging him to be defiant. And they probably shared some coke too.

I’ve watched more of the meeting between the 3.

I think while Vance’s comments precipitated the bad blood they were not the underlying cause.

I think that was Zelensky’s attitude. He came in arrogant and demanding not as what he really is; A supplicant begging for help.

Should have pissed tested him before letting him in the Whitehouse. I’m sure he was coked up.

He’s going to get the aex from his own people. He best bring a LOT of chapstick if he manages to survive to come back to the White House.

RE: I don’t care to spend any of my tax dollars on any other country ever.

Even for the $47,020 for a transgender opera in Colombia through the State Department and $32,000 for an LGBTQ-centered comic book in Peru? 💸💸💸💸💸💸💸💸💸💸

Maybe some vital purposes can be exceptions?
Maybe not.

I watched the whole thing, start to end. Zelensky demanded everything and offered nothing. As his main prop he used the POW pictures showing what the Russians did to some POWs. If those were war crimes they'll work it out in international courts later. The most important thing, Trump said over and over, is to stop the fighting that should never have started.

Whatever they did, it worked with Biden. I doubt he did little more than sign the check before releasing a foul odor. It won’t work with Trump.

I believe in likeability.

Macron despite whatever his policies might be presented himself well and came across as likeable.

Even Starmer beat the low expectations he had set in his own country.

The little fella is entirely unlikable and maybe that is why he has America’s most unlikable pimping for him such as Schiffty.

I didn’t see the Faux News interview as I don’t have cable, but the American people whose good judgment and common sense restored Trump to office will not take kindly to this little con man just like they did not take kindly to the con man named Dr. Ponzi.

It would seem the democrats gave him some very bad advice and he is just waking up to that fact.

The minerals deal was not to enrich the USA. Evidently, there is only at most 200 billion dollars worth and it would take billions to get it out of the ground AND it is low grade/quality.

What it does do is give us “something”. But mainly, it gives us a reason other than war to have presence there. Which is why Putin jumped in with his own mineral offer for us. An ECONOMIC reason allows us there to “ protect” American interests without bombs and peace keepers AND Putin signalled he’d go along with it.

Z still wants to win an unsinkable war.
