There is NO LGBTQ “community” by definition.
Just as there is no ‘people of color’ community. It’s merely a collection of people who aren’t white. They’ve little else in common.
Same goes for the alphabet people. A collection of people who aren’t straight (normal).

Of the titles featuring LGBTQ people, 28% featured a transgender and/or genderqueer character
It’s a start.
Now get rid of the rest.

More than half of books banned during the last school year featured or were about people of color or members of the LGBTQ community, according to a report...”
SUUURRE they were. AND all of them were most likely of the LGBTQ + persuasion in order to be “inclusive”. Not to mention its all brought to you by NBC News

I cry BS on this report. Have to wonder how committed PEN really is to free expression.

LOL I remember being a teenager and the closest thing to porn I could get my hands on would be art books, which may have 1 or 2 images of interest.

I used to offer to pay for a subscription to Soldier of Fortune magazine when I would see the self righteous “banned books” display in public libraries, my offer was always refused.

Me too. It's but one reason that I post like I do.
In the hopes that lurkers will share the Word of God and somehow slow down the spread of this evil.
It's good that people are standing up.
They couldn't get regular pornography into schools 🏫🏫🏫
so they just call it "LGBTQ+ Diversity"

No books were banned. Just as whiskey was not banned — it was just not served to your third graders in school.
