Assemblyman Rick Zbur (D-Los Angeles) responded to mounting criticism on Tuesday following a huge public backlash against a bill he introduced late last week that would severely limit self defense agains t crime in the state of California.

Zbur’s bill, Assembly Bill 1333, would eliminate certain circumstances under which homicide is justifiable, including, among others, in defense of a habitation or property. The bill would additionally clarify circumstances in which homicide is not justifiable, including, among others, when a person uses more force than necessary to defend against a danger.

Break into my home, threaten my family you will be shot. I would rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6

California’s idea of self-defense is to call the police and wait for them to find your corpse after your killers have fled the scene.

When someone breaks into your house there are two things you must assume. First that the person is armed and second that the person intends deadly harm to you and your family. Any other assumptions will get you killed.

The morons in Sacramento believe you should ask the villain what his intentions are towards you and your family. Then you will be allowed to consider your defense options.

It is my sincere hope that legislators who pass this swill have their homes broken into and be vigorously physically assaulted. If they happen to die from the assault, well too damn bad.

when a person uses more force than necessary to defend against a danger.
= = =

So, I guess for proper defense, use a caliber based on the size and weight of the attacker.

Some formula ... like a 100-lb, 4-ft ==> .22 caliber
250-lb, 6-ft ==> .45 caliber

So, carry 3 or 4 guns to be able to use the proper one.

Never, ever use a .22 for self defense against another person. Even a lethal wound from those will not always drop an assailant until it is too late, especially one hopped up on drugs.

If only we had a Constitutional Amendment Guaranteeing Equal Rights Under the Law where all laws applied to all people without exception, then this wouldn’t be a problem. YES it should apply to ALL POLICE OFFICERS. If it is a Good Law, then it should stand, if not it should be repealed

The Law

Trump and Congress should craft a Free to Defend law, wherein any person needing to protect self, family or property can use any means to defend themselves without fear of destructive prosecution.

When Obama was in office in Illinois, he wanted to make it a crime to defend yourself in your house with a gun.
