Seems like Ukraine was a play ground for the worst of the uS.
There are at least ten bio-labs within 30 miles of my home.
Biolabs are all over the place.
The important question is what are they doing in those labs? Answer that question and it could get nefarious.
If “we” know about them….they re not “secret.”
If the US is funding bio labs next door to Russia, you can believe they’re benevolent.
I choose to distrust my govt and especially its intelligence agencies and its medical industries married to govt funding.,
I suspect any out of country bio labs are being funded because their work would be considered illegal here..
I know there’s at least one US funded soil lab in Ukraine, too.
Usually a lab is just a lab.
Your thinking would have us all worrying about cow pox. Without biolabs, half of our kids would not have made it through their teens.
If you really think that biological research is bad…you are wrong.
“If you really think that biological research is bad”
Actually I think it’s very good for humanity but that does not make Fauci right.
If true, that’s why OBiden dumped so much money over there, and why Russia really wants to reclaim it.
This is old. What has she said since confirmation?
I think Fauci said something like that back in 2020 when asked about a biolab in Wuhan, China.
.....
:)
Agricultural Extension offices?
Public Health test facilities?
Etc.?
Sen. Rubio: "Does Ukraine have chemical or biological weapons?"
Undersecretary Nuland: "Ukraine has biological research facilities," which we are now quite concerned Russian troops--Russian forces--may be seeking to gain control of, so we are working with the Ukrainians on how they can prevent any of those research materials from falling into the hands of Russians forces should they approach."
There is a difference between “do they have facilities?” and “are we funding their facilities?”.
Let’s see the Epstein stuff too...
Nuland in 2022 answered Sen. Rubio's question as to whether Ukraine has "chemical or biological weapons."
If the correct understanding were that there were merely biolabs and not biological weapons in Ukraine, would that have been Nuland's response?
I seriously doubt it. And now Gabbard confirms not only that, but also the fact that the US funded those biological weapons labs.
And yes, there is a difference.
However, I wish I said in my post that there is no way American taxpayers should be paying for this. No, nope, nada.
Not a dime. I don’t care if they’re working on something good; let them pay for it.
And it’s not JUST Ukraine. There’s dozens of schemes like this in a myriad of countries and places we are helping pay for. Why? I pay enough tazes. Every penny not spent wisely is a slap in my—and millions of other Americans—faces.
I have no dog in this fight, except clarity.
The US should not EVER be funding some other countries labs, I don’t care what they’re working on.
I’ll bet USAID is funding biolabs, chemolabs, petrolabs, whatever, everywhere but here in the USA. Stop spending out money!!!
Brian Cates on X has posted the lab locations using a US gov map. He overlaid that map with Russia’s first strikes in the opening days of the Ukraine war (Putin hit most lab locations day 1). I haven’t seen their existence debated, but their purpose is debated. Some say biowarfare - I think that’s reasonable. Biden owns one of these labs - I think it’s Metabiota.

Yes, but why are we funding ANY biolabs in Ukraine, no matter what they’re working on?
