Trump calls for company building Keystone XL Pipeline to return to America and ‘get it built’
Fox News ^ | 2/24/25 | Stepheny Price

President Donald Trump turned his attention to the Keystone XL Pipeline on Monday evening, calling for the company building it to "come back to America, and get it built — NOW!"

Trump said he was "just thinking" about how construction on the pipeline was "viciously jettisoned by the incompetent Biden Administration," and promised things are different now under his leadership.

"I know they were treated very badly by Sleepy Joe Biden, but the Trump Administration is very different — Easy approvals, almost immediate start! If not them, perhaps another Pipeline Company. We want the Keystone XL Pipeline built!"

The pipeline has been at the forefront of political debate since the project began construction in 2010, and was eventually halted by former President Barack Obama before it was finished. Trump revived it during his first term.

However, former President Joe Biden ordered the pipeline cancelation via executive order on his first day in office in January 2021, leading to thousands of job losses.

TC Energy, the operator of the Keystone XL pipeline, ultimately gave up on the project in June 2021 as a result of Biden's decision to cancel its federal permits.

Not exactly done on the first day, but that'll do.

“However, former President Joe Biden ordered the pipeline cancelation via executive order on his first day in office in January 2021, leading to thousands of job losses.”

And that is why we don’t care about all the federal job loses.

"And that is why we don’t care about all the federal job loses."

That's my view also. The pipeline was an additive to the economy in terms of jobs with long term employment and collateral economic benefits to other companies and the local communities. The pipeline had benefits to thousands of people which transcended politics. All those Federal hires are a negative because they increase payroll and new taxes must eventually be found to pay for them. And the employees produce nothing. And that's assuming they even show up for work.

Subsidize it if we have to BUT GET IT BUILT. Pronto.

I want this done just to shove it down the Gaia Worshipers’ throats as much as for the benefits it would bring.

Let me add.....along with prioritizing Keystone and getting it built whatever it takes, the same goes for ANWR. Drill it whatever it takes even if we have to subsidize somebody to do it. Same rationale as before. Shove it right down the Gaia Worshipers’ throats.

He can call for it, but some projects are just too big to try once they’ve been canceled.

I hope I’m wrong.

Yeah, most of the experts on that project moved on to other jobs.

And don't forget about the job losses due to hussein on his first day of office cancelling the F-22 and ordering all tooling destroyed.

That and there is just so much coordination that has to take place to get everybody a schedule. Basically, we are talking about hundreds of companies coordinating together to work on a project this large.

What “experts” you talking about?
Its just a pipeline on land.
The Chinese are building gargantuan bridges and tunnels across vast expanses of water..

Ah-h-h ... nuclear power presents a conundrum for the lefties with a 3-digit IQ (a small subset of the whole). They realize that the only way to force everyone into EVs is to have abundant and inexpensive electricity available to all to power EVs that also cost far less than a normal ICE vehicle. But they *hate* nukes with a passion. What to do ... what to do ...

But Trump is a builder, not a politician.

Getting things done is his specialty.

You can always catch them out with Nuclear power. It produces ZERO carbon emissions and produces large amounts of energy reliably. So they’re all in favor of it right? I mean, you can “save da Erf” and prevent “global warming” with such an energy source so you’re all in favor - right Global Socialist Watermelons?

Of course they aren’t. But they trip over themselves and hem and haw trying to explain why not.

Sure, but it still takes the ability of all the companies involves to set aside time to work on this one project, even if it means refusing to do other projects and coordinate all the companies involved. He’s the President now. He’s not going to be involved in the coordination.

It’s unfathomable of the damage that Bidon did when he cancelled the project in order to please Warren Buffet.
