Was that Robert Plant’s child? I believe All My Love was written about him.
OJ walked into Salfranco’s in Orchard Park one Sunday before a game, if I recall correctly he was part of the Network coverage on TV. As soon as I got up, there was already a crowd, and then he was gone. Back when OJ was just an ex-football great.
I miss going to the games. I was about 45 minutes from the stadium, now it’s about 1,500 miles.
When I was a young boy(1970s) there was talk of the Simpson family moving into the Eagle Heights section of Orchard Park. This was the most expensive neighborhood in town.
It was quiet the local gossip.
That is because pretty much the ONLY other Negro family in town was a doctor. OJ moved to Williamsville or Amherst instead.
At OP high school there was exactly ONE Negro family in school. This was not a small high School either. We had 444 in my graduating class in 1981.
Eventually, Rick James(Superfreak) moved into OP. Then several other Bills players including Jim Kelly. Who lives right around the corner from my parents former house.
Yes, I believe so.
I wish I had kept the ticket. However, to get my money back I had to turn in the ticket.
A lot of the players used to come into Salfranco’s after the games. I ate a lot of Wings and Labatt’s Blue’s there in my youth. When you could drink at age 18.
I had a high school buddy who lived just a few houses south of there on Abbott Road. His family parked a lot of cars on their property for games and concerts over the years.
