60 Minutes was caught in another completely fabricated report on Sunday night. Their lies are becoming sloppy.
This time 60 Minutes aired a segment about a sad young mother Kristina Drye who was fired from USAID in Washington DC this month.
But this was a complete lie.
Kristina Drye does not work for USAID. She works for XLA and Jefferson Partners, a company that provides speechwriting services for USAID.
Kari Lake has more. Kristina Drye was Samantha Power’s speechwriter – the former head of USAID!
This entire segment was bullsh*t
Kristina Drye was Samantha Power’s speech writer.
Samantha Power was the former head of the USAID@60Minutes tried to pass off the woman who helped give voice to all of this agency’s corruption as a common civil servant.
The news doesn’t get much faker than this. https://t.co/sni2X80Blt
— Kari Lake (@KariLake) February 17, 2025 In fact 60 Minutes pulled in two communications consultants who were NEVER ACTUAL EMPLOYEES of USAID.

I hope everyone forwards these to Trump on Truth Social. His people do check them.
We’re gonna need a bigger jail.
Ought to be a good reason for the FCC to pull their license.
All of these lies should be added to the FCC complaint. I don’t know how this company should maintain its license. At the very least they should be required to start their news casts with a warning notify viewers they aren’t presenting news.
Does anyone even watch 60 Minutes anymore? Its old and stale. It had its heyday in the 1970s and 1980s - 45 years ago. When the last of the geriatric original team finally died off, they should have put 60 Minutes out of its misery.
If your a loser at the blackjack table, you keep doubling down until you got nothing left to lose.
To CBS, I say keep doubling down, your market cap is diminishing very quickly.
The end of the “Tiffany” network is near.
Will they be held responsible? Forced to apologize? Fined?
Unlikely, the FCC does not typically do their job.
and has not for a long time
WLBT-TV in Jackson, Mississippi: In 1969, the FCC revoked the license of WLBT-TV due to its repeated violations of the Fairness Doctrine and its failure to serve the public interest. The station had a history of racial discrimination in its programming and employment practices.
RKO General: In the 1980s, the FCC revoked the licenses of several RKO General stations due to issues related to the character qualifications of its owners. The company was found to have engaged in fraudulent financial practices and lacked the integrity required to hold a broadcast license.
Wow.
That needs to go viral...
I haven’t watched it in 40 years. But it’s like cnn and msnbc, you know it is fake so you watch for the entertainment value.
Question for CBS affiliates: Have you lot got a freaking death wish?!
Their mighty messiah god, odongo, repealed the law way back in 2012-2015 or so that kept their feet to the fire in regards to lying to the great “unwashed masses”. He gave them the freedom to lie their sweet, little, commie arses off without any repercussions.... In essence, he made the MSM into the RAT’s PRVDA...
IMHO, that law needs to be put back in place.
That was a good one. Free Speech = Facist
Ought to be a good reason for the FCC to pull their license.
IF they keep getting sued you would think that eventually Paramount would want to cut their losses.
Just like Comcast must be thinking about with NBC.
Just like Disney must be thinking about with ABC.
As Don Corleone once famously said “it’s nothing personal, it’s just business”.
Did she say she was an actual employee of USAID, or someone who was being paid under the table by USAID?
I find it not at all implausible that Powers was USAID funds to pay her own speechwriters.
Anyone remember Ballsey Ford? These people are liars. They have no moral compass, just a perverse desire to enslave everyone else to do their bidding.
