I read that it is $2500 this year and $600 next year, not $600 starting this year.
What law changed it from $600 to $2500 for this year?
I’d just as soon scrap the IRS and go to a flat (10%?) tax, then as tariffs come into play, scrap income taxes altogether.
The whole thing needs to be completely scrapped and brought to a simple tax code.
But then the government couldn’t embezzle money into secret projects then.
