An Illinois Christian college deleted a post congratulating Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Director Russell Vought, a graduate of the school, after facing backlash and later claimed it didn’t mean to be “political.”

Wheaton used to be a Christian college, like other Methodist-associated colleges such as Florida Southern etc.

Wheaton used to be pretty solid, but has progressively (!) caved to the culture in the last two decades. I used to enjoy some of their productions on an independent Christian radio station (that was sadly bought by a conglomerate and has also gone soft).
The way is, indeed, narrow; and it is getting a lot narrower as time goes on.

It was a pretty innocent comment. As Wheaton maintained, it was something they would write about any accomplished alumnus. They shouldn’t have given in to the leftist nutjob crybaby tantrum-throwers among their alumni.
