Blagojevich did his time, and seems contrite. He deserves a second chance. But he committed real crimes, and was a corrupt politician. The commutation was probably fair, but I think that’s where it should end. No pardon.

Quid pro quo.
“You run for Dick Durban’s seat as a republican and I’ll let you off the hook”.
Sounds fair to me. Trump showed those voters what crooks the rats are.

Good post the more steam on the democrats the better.

Yeah those tapes are pretty real :)
He’s not in prison now. Why pardon a very guilty person?

I've posted many times that, given what we now know about Barack Obama and how he rolls, I find it hard to believe that Obama wasn't up to his ears in the selling of his Senate seat.
I think Blagojevich was just the fall guy to protect Obama's presidential campaign. The reason that Jesse Jackson, Sr. hated Obama was that this scandal also ensnared Jesse Jackson, Jr. in the plot as Jr. was hoping to gain the seat for himself.

(Because they were mesmerized by Obama, the man for whom this was named, whose name they left out of )

In other news, the film “Dondi” is being cast and Rod Blagojevich is under consideration for the title role
But I digress...

Illinois continues to be a lawless State under the rule of the Democrats. I’m thinking the statute of limitations might not have expired on some crimes, and some people who have heretofore been given a pass need to lawyer up.
