Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp (R) is at the center of intense speculation as Republicans wait to see whether the popular two-term governor will run against Sen. Jon Ossoff (D-Ga.) next year.
Republicans believe Kemp would clear the field and be the party’s most formidable candidate against Ossoff, a first-term senator who beat a Trump-backed Republican in one of the biggest upsets of the 2020 election cycle.

Getting rid of Kemp as Governator would be a Good Thing.
Putting him in the Senate ilo a Georgia ‘Rat would likely be a plus.
Getting him to retire would be best.

Kemp. currently has a 64 percent approval rating and is leading Ossoff in all the surveys. He got 54 percent of the vote in 2022 and won the GOP primary over a Trump-backed former senator with 74 percent of the vote. I’d say most people know that he’s popular.

I say let’s just have a good Republican primary. Believe any victor can beat Ossoff. He hasn’t exactly shined on the job (even Dems will say that) and hasn’t made friends.

He’s a popular Governor here and has done well for the State.
He’s also politically savvy. If he runs, that means he knows that he’ll probably win. Ossoff is worthless.

Sad to say, he was much better than the alternative in the GOP primary six years ago.

Kemp may be a SOB but he's better than a 'Rat Senator.
So he'll be similar to Linda Graham or Tom Tillis.
Annoying. But with enough political pressure, you can count on him.
