Just for fun, I went to look at the biggest corporate contributors to Bernie Sanders 2020 presidential campaign.
And his expenditures.
I was curious to see how he burned through $200 million..
thanks for bringing our attention to this Bernie.
Turns out he’s not just a big pharma ... He’s a generalized big corporation ... too!
...
US Postal Service ... $438,076 ..
City of New York .. $397,513 ..
US Army ... $290,892..
US Air Force $288,519..
State of CaliforniA .. $263,087..
Dept. of Defense ..$247,397..
...
What does it feel like to be proven liar before all of America @BernieSanders ?
Within a minute, it went from “I did not take a penny from pharma executives” to “it was only $1.5 million out of $200 million”.
Incidentally, you are a liar. You did take money from executives. Here is the evidence,
The Internet is forever, as is your tarnished confirmed big-pharma-whore reputation.
...
Bernie Sanders is at the TOP of the list for receiving the most money from Big Pharma.
He is a communist using money made from grifting, capitalism, and donations all while decrying the evils of our system of government.
Anything he says, you should assume the opposite
...
Elizabeth Warren — took over $800,000 from Big Pharma in 2020.
...
DEI is great for Big Pharma because all those gender-affirming procedures require a lifelong subscription to estrogen or testosterone shots. It's becoming more obvious that Democrats have been drinking that Big Pharma Kool-Aid
I just saw a clip of him questioning RFKj. He said he got $5 million from pharmaceutical companies out of $200 million and dismissed it as a small amount. What a world we live in where $5 million doesn’t matter!
First of all, contributions from any local, state, or federal government agency should be illegal.
Yes
How is it not illegal?!?!? They have no right giving tax-payer money to any politician.
That does not seem right. The Army, Air Force and Dept of Defense can contribute to a presidential campaign? Or did they sum up the individuals in the Army, Air Force or Dept of Defense?
Exactly!!! Why is DoD, Army, and Air Force giving money??
Well, $5 Million here, $5 Million there, and pretty soon you’re talking enough money to allow a committed Communist to live in the manner he desires.
“What a world we live in where $5 million doesn’t matter!”
From the world of politics as described by Sen. Ed Dirksen: “A few million here and a few million there and pretty soon you’re talking about real money.”
That might be the answer, but they should have noted it.
Bernie Sanders has always been a fraud, always railing against capitalism yet always willing to horde money from filthy capitalists. Beyond that, can someone please explain how it is legal that the US Army and Air Force give money to partisan politicians? And how much debt does the USPS have? And they donate money (tax dollars)?
Anyone ask him how a “fighting for the masses” commie got the money for his five houses?
It should stop because it’s blatantly stupid.
Are those receipts or expenditures?
In re: “Turns out he’s not just a big pharma ... He’s a generalized big corporation ... too!”....
“US Postal Service ... $438,076 ..”
“City of New York .. $397,513 ..”
“US Army ... $290,892..”
“US Air Force $288,519..”
“State of CaliforniA .. $263,087..”
“Dept. of Defense ..$247,397..”
And which of those are “big corporations”???
Trump was president in 2020 so why?
US Army ... $290,892..
US Air Force $288,519..
Dept. of Defense ..$247,397..
No politicians including PDT should get donations from the armed services, let alone any Gov. entity.
How times change. I'm old enough to remember Senator Everett Dirksen (R-Ill) say about federal over spending in the mid 1960's - “A billion here, a billion there, and pretty soon you're talking real money."
They aren’t.
Why are government agency and military allowed to use taxpayers money to support political candidates. There own money yes, but not mine.
Once again people here get jerked. When will they learn.
