US officials said Thursday there were likely no survivors after a passenger jet carrying 64 people collided in midair with a military helicopter and crashed into the icy waters of Washington’s Potomac river.
“We are now at a point where we are switching from a rescue operation to a recovery operation,” Washington Fire Chief John Donnelly told a news conference at Reagan National Airport.

I find it very hard to believe that Gateway Pundit would publish misleading information.
Once again, there are people who hear the absolute first reports and believe them. In situations like this one, and most significant events, the first reports are unreliable and should be taken with a large grain of salt.
But because one tweet said there were survivors, there will spawn conspiracy theories that will be around for decades.
Question: was the Blackhawk piloted by a Muslim officer?
I really hope there are no recordings of the pilot yelling alahua ackbar. That always confuses authorities when searching for a motive.

I think it is near certain that the primary cause was helicopter pilot error. Next, why are we allowing collision courses in the first place.
We might get a legit investigation this time.

My guess is that the helicopter pilot was a woke Rainbow Warrior angry that Trump banned the trannies from military service. This was not an accident.

Lockheed promoted a short vid a few weeks before the 2024 election on this capability, mentioning a blackhawk could be controlled 300 miles away.
The chopper had a regulated ceiling of 200 feet. It climbed to 350 feet.

Anyone on here knowledgeable if that particular helicopter model has a very good field of view from the pilots’ seats? It seems intuitive that the pilot(s) should have been able to see the plane well ahead of time on that course towards the collision, no? Wondering what is off or missing from the context here? Could a helicopter approach a plane for some time without seeing it? Distracted pilot? Something going on in helicopter that we are unaware of? Hate to consider bad intent but all must be discreetly on the table to examine in any situation as this.
That may have been true but if so, they most likely would have succumbed by arrival.
