I heard this was a fake story to begin with, that it was never removed
“malicious compliance”
Similar to “Defiance by Compliance”
Only an idiot or someone that wants to throw sand into the gears could possibly not “understand” the difference between history and DEI.
During World War II, the U.S. Army Air Corps became the U.S. Army Air Force (USAAF), and was often referred to as “the Air Force.”
Sounds to me it was removed by far left RAT turd rollers.
We love our myths.
“Malicious Compliance” indeed.
Removing a video of WWII airmen, who happened to be black, was probably done by a leftist on the inside to purposely incite controversy
The Tuskegee Airmen were in World War II. Affirmative Action didn’t start until the 1960s. DEI is just Affirmative Action on steroids.
“far left RAT turd rollers”
I might steal that.
It should be noted also that this would have been USAF Public Affairs people. They are notorious leftists. This was likely a cute response to Trump whom they would not be likely to be happy about Trump in any way
This was a nasty move
“Removing a video of WWII airmen, who happened to be black, was probably done by a leftist on the inside to purposely incite controversy”
Nasty people many of whom take up space in the USAF
This story is a lie. Some dipshit did this intentionally to cause a stink. It’s called sabotage.
Smacks of a manufactured problem.
I don’t see any relation between Tuskegee airmen film and ‘die’...
...unless it was a production in favor of ‘die’...
The clown who tried this stunt needs to be a dishonorably discharged civilian today
The Tuskegee Airmen fought bravely during WWII. Why would anyone dishonor them like that?
Also worth noting that the Army Air Corps, like the rest of the US military, was segregated by a Democrat president (Wilson) and only desegregated by Truman (also a Democrat) well after WWII. About the same time the Dodgers and the Indians desegregated major league baseball. Hence the Tuskegee Airmen serving in a separate unit with special markings on their planes. Their icon. FDR, did nothing to correct that or end Jim Crow in the South.
How does this stuff about blacks and women in the Army get into Air Force basic training in the first place and how much time was spent on it and to teach what, how was it used?
Why on earth would ANYONE interpret an order to dump DEI to be in any way manner shape or form a reference to the Tusgeegee Airmen? I’d fire whomever was responsible for provocative insubordination. (Being a snarky wiseass).
What moron would equate the Tuskegee Airmen with DEI policies?
If any organization proved their worth based on merit, it was them.
